All could say that the pharmacy staff on this location is the far worst I been at. My prescription took 2 and half hours to be filled. They could be busy but they should tell me upfront and not give me estimated time to pick up. I have to call twice and the guy who is helping me was rude. He dont listen to the question and asked me if how many prescription I need?" and "when do you need it?" And me answering that i needed it today. This location need to train there employee between listening vs. hearing customer concerns or complain. We know that it is customer service and its a minimum Pay job but bring some integrity on what you do. It is sad that this location is not up to Shoppers Mission “to be the leader in helping Canadians discover a healthier outlook on life.”"

The coop student or intern at the pharmacy department has got to go. She’s slow, rude and even talks to her nice coworkers rudely. She should be respectful to the nice coworkers and respectful to clients which she is not. I would not come here again if she’s still ‘working’ here. Clearly she doesn’t appreciate the opportunity that she has been given.

Customer service for both pharmacy and for all inquiries are poor and rude. Called customer service just to be left sitting on hold for 15 minutes after she spoke to me in an annoyed tone to connect me to pharmacy, after I hung up I called directly to pharmacy (Wasn’t sure of their number first) and they picked up right away? Both answered with rude annoyed tones like they didn’t want to work. If you’re looking for kind customer service, i don’t recommend it here

This place was my go to place loved the service. Cosmetic amazing service she is great will always buy from her. There is a women manager didn’t get her name she is short Med build dark blond hair. Rude lady can’t ask her anything. Everything is a bother to her. I think her name was Andrea shouldn’t be in customer service if she can’t handle a simple question. Sorry to bother youThe phone another another problem either your on hold for 30 min or you get disconnected. Spoke toTaylor nice girl but is only able to do so much.Not sure what happened to this place but they are not really keen on working.However the post office manager is amazing and the Pharmacy is great no issues on that end.Left a package with the manager Andrea to return to AmazonThe site said it’s open however not till 930 and I was working at 9 amThe post office manager was able to help thank you

Numerous times over the past year prescription blister packs have been filled incorrectly for an elderly patient. We have brought this concern to the attention of the pharmacy team on at least three occasions. We were also quite alarmed when an unneeded medication was added to her blister pack . In fact, that medication was never ordered by her doctor. This was a grave error. Pharmacy staff apologized. This store requires that customers be home at the time of medication delivery. Again this week, elderly patient waited all day for a medication delivery but none arrived. Patient quite concerned as had no medication left for the following day. Called them again to follow up. Was told that they ran out of blister packs. Have been told too many times that “ yes, we should have called to let you know”. Too many excuses and too many errors. Time for a change!!

My review is based on my experience at the pharmacy. If I could give it a zero or negative stars I would.We recently moved to the area, I was going to switch my prescriptions from one Shoppers Drug Mart to this location. I brought in a new prescription to be filled 4 days prior to needing it. To start off, I stood at the drop off area for a minimum of 5 minutes, waiting to be acknowledged by one of the 3 women working the pharmacy. 2 of which were in conversation, what looked like, and sounded as they were talking about the person that left before me. Finally, the one doing all the talking approached me, and asked what I needed. I gave her my prescription, she had a look and told me they had to order it, and it would be in by Monday. It is a birth control pill, generally I would start on Sunday, but I figured what's 1 day. No problem order it. She made it very clear they would call me when it came in, as I was a little concerned. So Monday rolls around, no phone call. I waited until Tuesday morning, a little more concerned, cause it's my birth control pill. The answer I got when I called was, no it's not in yet, and almost a little irritated, she said WE WILL CALL YOU when it comes in. I made it clear again, it's a birth control pill, that I should have started Sunday, and now it's Tuesday..... No call Wednesday, No call Thursday, No call Friday. I called first thing Saturday morning, in a bit of a panic , cause now I'll be off schedule and starting my pill a week later. The pharmacist that answered the phone, informed me that it was ready for pick up Monday.....are you f*&ing kidding me!!! I was a little irritated

Couldn’t be more infuriated with the incompetency of their pharmaceutical department. Went to pick up medication and found out when I got there they didn’t have any in stock (not my issue). Asked them to call another location that did since it was urgent. They didn’t call and told me to wait so I had to call myself. The Garth location was able to help but required the upper James location to FAX my prescription over which should’ve taken only 20 minutes but instead took an hour and 20 minutes due to the upper James location repeatedly ignoring their calls and just being all around terrible.

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would.The female pharmacist (unsure of her name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag ) is completely rude and has zero customer service skills. I am leaving this pharmacy and going to one where I am treated as a valued customer.

May 17, 2023TO: Shoppers Upper James and RymalDear Sir:I can not in good conscience continue to allow you to waste so much of my time trying to communicate with your pharmacy by telephone. I have a record of every time I have called you and the amount of time waiting for the call to be answered is unacceptable.Your website indicates you are open for business at 8:00 am. This morning I called at 8:42 more or less, to refill my prescription for Celebrex . After waiting for 12 minutes (less the time I spoke with the receptionist), the call was answered by a staffer who was all alone in the pharmacy. Could it be you have concluded that the dollar value of the business you lose by not manning the phones properly is less than the cost of providing sufficient staff to resolve the situation?As well, partial deliveries of medications has become the norm. Obviously, there are problems. I have asked to have all of the medications refilled on the same timetable. Dr. has tried to manage the situation, but you can not do your part.I am looking for solutions as well as answers.On the answer side, what is most disturbing is the possibility I may be witnessing the standard in the industry in Hamilton.On the solution side, my only option is to look for a pharmacy that can provide me with better service.On the plus side, I like your delivery
