Robin has a great intuition for envisioning what will work in a space. She took our existing ideas, offered some improvements, and turned it in to a workable design on paper. She did this in a very transparent, helpful, low pressure, and timely manner. We went forward with the design and the result turned out beautifully. We are very happy with the renovation and with Robin’s services.

Robin provided insightful advice well suited to our needs. She spent the time to understand our goals and the life context that would be important for our major kitchen reno and used that context to inform her recommendations and our discussions. She consistently maintained the right balance of professional and personable. That balance combined with her acute ability to listen and engage with us, made all our interactions with her a genuine pleasure. We are excited to move forward with our reno and will likely hire her for a second consultation once the project gets 'into the details'.

Robin worked with us in 2020 on redesigning what must be one of the oddest bathrooms out there. She was able to work with its odd L-shape, balcony door, and sloped ceiling to create a space where two preteen girls could use the space together AND keep the peace. She helped us borrow a bit more space for it from the neighbouring bedroom without compromising the bedroom's functionality, and found creative ways to add additional storage to the bathroom that hadn't even crossed our minds. Robin understood that kids are not super tidy and guided us towards finishes that weren't finicky, and was mindful of details such as choosing rounded corners for faucets because bonks happen. We had some fairly strong thoughts on finishes, and Robin helped us stay true to those while also guiding us towards the design variations that suited the space we were working with best. We have since had to move, and are super happy with the new place EXCEPT the bathrooms are just not nearly as nice! Favourite/most missed feature: the soaker tub. We look forward to using her services again in the future :)

We consulted with Robin on redesigning our backyard layout to make it more functional for our family's needs. Robin was able to help us zone in on our wants and needs and offer ideas on using our space that we would never have thought of! Robin suggested that we rearrange our existing furniture, identified a few key pieces to purchase to make the space more cozy, highlighted a couple of larger purchases to consider (like a new rug!), and helped solve a persistent storage problem without suggesting we toss our beloved but large record collection.Robin efficiently collected information she needed to understand our style and how we use our space, was professional and kind during our Remote Design Chat, and followed up in a timely manner. Because of Robin's input, we've started using our living room everyday and our home feels so much bigger. I would highly recommend her design services.

Working with Robin was just what I needed to feel confident in my design choices and get my renovation off the ground. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Robin from August 2020 - January 2021 to create a concept design for our main floor, master bedroom & ensuite. The idea of this project felt overwhelming at first and enlisting Robin's help was the best decision we made! Our entire experience was done remotely due to the pandemic but we were still able to get the full experience - she worked with us to identify our personal style, what we want to get out of our home and she created a beautiful design that we can't wait to bring to life. She is a joy to work with and was able to really understand our style and how we use our home so she could weave this into our design. Her work also made it easy to get realistic quotes from contractors because of the level of detail in her plans. We used Robin's services to help us design our mudroom/laundry room renovation. While we hired the individual contractors ourselves, we really valued Robin's expertise in helping us decide on a layout. She walked us through options and brought up considerations for the space and flow that we never would have thought of ourselves. The drawings she gave us were super helpful as we then had tradespeople in to do the work. In helping us craft our vision, Robin was warm and approachable .
