Alex and his team at Housefit are the best personal trainers!If it wasn’t for my training at Housefit I wouldn’t have learnt to workout the way I do now and lose weight which was my primary goal when I started training here.They teach you about health and nutrition holistically and help you stay focused, whatever your fitness goal.

I've been with Housefit for the past 11 months. It is a boutique fitness that focuses on exercise and nutrition. I was able to lose 45 lbs of my pregnancy weight with Alex's program. I was stuck with my postpartum weight for a good 6 months (no change) until I started his program. Would highly recommend.

Alex and his Housefit team are amazing. If you are looking for a way to learn about how nutrition affects and fuels your body, and gradual and effective diet and movement programming to change your life - look no further than Housefit.I began my fitness journey with Alex and his team prior to the pandemic, in 2019. I was starting a new chapter in my life and needed to focus on my health and self-confidence. I had been an active younger person but had let some things slide and needed a change, I wanted to get back to running, horseback riding and other activities I loved without hesitation. Let's face it, sometimes life gets in the way and fitness in your 50s looks a lot different than in your 20s or 30s... but its never too late to make a change.From the start Alex took the time to really help me examine my lifestyle habits and make changes to lose weight and get moving again so that I could feel better, regain energy and feel good about myself. He customizes meal plans, and provides stretching and strengthening programs for home to support what is done in the gym - he even built an exercise plan for me to do on vacation in Jamaica - and I lost weight there too!Admittedly, during the pandemic when the gym closed it was a challenge and being locked down and working from home caused me to slide back a bit - and recently some surgery also caused me to stop in order to recover - but now I am back on track and so happy.Communication and check-ins are a cornerstone of Alex's programming, and adjustments and modifications are made when needed. We are human and need that. Life happens. Injuries happen. We adjust. This is not a 'quick fix' diet plan. It's a lifestyle education.I have had 3 different trainers at Housefit over the years. They are all young and energetic and amazing- and on their own fitness journeys, which is so motivating to witness and follow. They are professional and knowledgeable and highly skilled - and most importantly really fun. The atmosphere at the gym is welcoming and clean and the equipment is top-notch.I would feel very well taken care of with any of the trainers at Housefit, but I am currently very lucky to have the amazing Naz - she is a patient and encouraging trainer- and her knowledge and enthusiasm keeps me motivated (not to mention her results in her own Cross-Fit and weightlifting competitions are mind-blowing)! She is my personal cheerleader and has enabled me to achieve personal bests I never thought possible.Overall I have gone from close to 180 lbs in 2019 down to my lowest at 126 in 2022. Now I am working at adding, building and maintaining 10+ lbs of muscle now through nutrition and putting in the hard work 3x a week with Naz.I have more energy for my busy and demanding job with my young students, I feel better in my skin and my clothes, and look forward to my 'gym days'. Importantly, I have learned how to track and fuel my body properly with the right nutrition for the activities I am taking part in.Naz and Alex have given me a new lease on life these past few years.Thank you Housefit - and my story is not over yet...!M.

I left with a world of knowledge and the best feeling ever! The team worked with my lifestyle, dietary restrictions and even gave me workouts while I travelled. I left Housefit with the tools, knowledge and confidence to workout on my own. I love that they don’t want you to depend on them forever. So now 6 years and 2 pregnancies later, I can jump back in. Joined housefit in November post rib injury. Alex and Rolf came together to work on my diet, to rebuild strength. Even when I had travel they came up with a customized plan for those days that I don’t compromise on my progress as well as making sure I enjoy my time. Highly recommend to anyone who intends to go through a transformation with great mentors.

Alex and the Housefit team are amazing! If you are looking for quick efficient results, this is the gym. I've lost 15lbs in less than 6 weeks training 3x a week and following Alex's nutrition. I am seeing dramatic results in such a short period of time, I couldn't be happier. I'm excited to see my final results and get to my goal weight, I've never been more motivated.I was someone who ate fast food and takeout 7 days a week, I didn't know how to cook, and I never counted a calorie in my life. When Alex first gave me my meal plan, it was daunting and I didn't think I would be able to do it. Alex was so patient, answered all my texts about food questions in minutes, and made a very easy to follow meal plan and grocery list. Now I can't imagine going back to the way I used to eat. He truly changed my entire diet and taught me so much about nutrition. Honestly, what I learned about food and diet would have been worth all the money alone.My trainer, Timea, and I get along like a house on fire. She pushes me to my limits in every session, I'm leaving a trail on sweat every time I leave lol. She started easy and slowly ramped it up so subtly, I'm amazed how much stronger I'm getting. It's also never boring, she gives me a large variety of different workouts. I never know what I'm gonna get that day and it keeps it fun and fresh.I found this gym on Google and if you're someone deciding if this is the right gym, GO FOR IT!! You won't regret it.

The short and sweet:Amazing team, amazing experience, zero regrets in joining this gym.The long:Starting your fitness journey can be tough and daunting but Alex’s got you covered. From carefully tailored diets to the workouts, they have your fitness goals in mind when creating your program. One thing I absolutely have to point out is that life happens and things may not go according to plan. But Alex (owner) and Timea are attentive and caring - even when there’s a wall, they’ll boost you up from behind and help you overcome it. They’re patient with my unending questions and never fail to make sure I’m heard.My trainer Timea has this positive and infectious energy that keeps you going even on the most tiring of days. And good lord is she fit and a great role model. She made me realize just how strong I could be. I was never someone who enjoyed working out, but I genuinely look forward to all my sessions with her.For anyone who’s thinking of embarking on their fitness journey, there may be difficult days but the positivity and care from the team really pulls you through. Wife and I joined HouseFit at different times, both of us really enjoyed the program and ultimately the results! Trainers are friendly, knowledgeable and adjust to any issues/ailments you may experience. Thorough and well thought out meal plan is provided and Alex takes the time to explain the science behind why you're doing what you're doing. Totally worth the investment in your health and wellness!
