EXTREMELY DISAPOINTING, FRUSTRATING AND OUTRAGEOUS!Honestly, I literally wasted 2 months for absolutely nothing.If you have a very simple case, you don't ask any questions, don't try to understand what is going to happen with you and have nothing to ask (even if there are special needs) maybe you have the chance to get something done.In times like these that Mental Health and Metal Issues are so evident how an University like UBC that entitles itself as the best in BC (if not in Canada) could provide such an IGNORANT response to a mental health situation that happened inside its dependences and under UCB's professionals care?On April 12, after my failed attempt of treatment I was DISMISSED from the Dentistry Program, because after a common decision from the 3 dentist supervisors on this specific day, “how many times this person will have to come here, UBC is not the place for him” I actually heard one of responsible professionals saying it behind me. All just because I had an incident of anxiety and panic attack and asked to stop the treatment, that actually didn't officially started, I asked to stop during the preparation, after receiving the anesthetic. The students that were doing my treatment were extremely kind, patient and understanding with my situation but the Official Dentists" that were part of Instructors during the morning session couldn't care less. None of them come to speak with me directly to try to understand the situation and even less try to offer any support or help.Don't get me wrong

I am extremely disappointed in the attitude of some of the students I had an appointment on Friday Nov 18 to extract 2 lower teeth After discussing and trying oxygen I became extremely nervous and uptight. After many shot to free my mouth the instructor informed me that I was intimidating the students so if I was to leave. I felt I was given no choice so I left. I have no idea how I could have possibly intimidated anyone. I was a nervous wreck. My mouth was completely numb. I very dissapiintrd tin the actions of the students. We are people they are dealing with not just mouth's

I saved over $20000 using UBC. The process is slow, but I learnt a lot about dentistry. I recieved 24 crowns.

I went there as Patient for removing my Wisdom Teeth. Actually, Student Dentists are very knowledgeable, friendly, reliable and generous. During the surgery, most of the time, they took care of me. The most difficult parts, their Professor took care of me. Im very happy now. No more Wisdom Teeth. Thank you very much, UBC Dentistry. You guys are my life savers.

I'm going there for my braces and I went there for my dental. Expander they are all so great the instructors but also the students have lots of knowledge and understanding of what someone might be going through such as pain and discomfort etc.
