BetterVet was great! I didn’t have to try and fight to get my cat into a carrier, stressing her out even more, or sit in a vet’s office with other animals/the smell of other animals which would also cause her stress. The vet and the vet tech who came out were very friendly and professional. They answered all of my questions, did the same exam my veterinarian has done in the past, did blood work, and made suggestions as to additional things we could try. My cat remained as calm as she could, until she saw the scale, then she was done! I received a follow up email with what we discussed after the appointment. The amount I paid was on par with that I would normally pay at my vet’s office. I could not be happier with this service.

Dr. Scott Perry was very caring and informative regarding our video call going over some concerns we had regarding our 15yr old Pug. My husband and are are so grateful for this Veternary Service and would absolutely recommend to anyone with a fur baby.

Dr. Rice and Marie are amazing, caring and kind! It took the stress out of having to take my dear kitty in the car to and into a clinic.They answered questions, gave feedback and most importantly handled my cat in a kind and compassionate way even when he wasn’t being cooperative (he can get feisty).I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rice and Marie and BetterVet.I received time confirmations and texts with estimated arrivals which were accurate.Thank you Dr. Rice and Marie for being such caring, wonderful people and doing the great job you do! I felt stupid because the reason i needed them, was issues that my kitty was having. And of course it had cleared up. But I really liked their patience, and he did get his flea meds. I am very pleased with our visit!

Dr. Rice and Marie came to my home to provide veterinary care for my senior dog who has severe anxiety about going to the vet. They were so patient and kind with her, that the visit was the best vet visit we've ever had! I will be using BetterVet for my other pets going forward, since having them come to my home is so convenient. No more putting cats in to carriers or trying to wrangle the dog into the car. I highly recommend this service to anyone who has anxiety about going to the vet....whether it's the human or the pet who has the anxiety LOL

It was a great experience! I will definitely continue to use them. They understood why it was difficult for me to put my dog in the car and take her to the vet. They were able to prescribe me her medicine, and I had it in less than 48 hours. Highly recommend. Thank you for all of your help!!

If you're in Michigan Do Not bother.I waited 2 weeks for a sick cat visit. Took a day off work.Was told multiple stories and had dozens of phone calls, Drs running late, Drs on his way, were not sure where the doctor was and the Doctor Never Showed. Then they offer me a complimentary home visit if I give them a second chance.I agreed and she couldn't find Any appointments, ever. I waited 11 days and left 3 messages and they never called back to schedule. After finally fessing up it turns out they don't have a doctor in Michigan,they claim to have a doctor starting in June but didn't have their schedule yet. So I left 3 messages and Mindy just ignored them.They offered a video visit but in the State of Michigan veterans cannot prescribe medication over video so that is useless. I informed the Better Vet of this as they were unaware. Communication with this company is horrible and my cat Still needs a doctor.

Update: So today one of the veterinarians called in the RX to the local pharmacy who doesn't have the medication in stock. So, after 4 days of repeated calls this is where it ends up. Still no medication for my dog and now awaiting the massive seizure that's sure to come. PLEASE DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR PET with this company!EXTREMELY disappointed with this service in the last 3 months! The initial visit was great and our 160 pound bundle of love has been doing well with the increase in his seizure medication. In May of 2023 he needed a refill and it kept getting cancelled. We were down to 2 pills and BetterVet FINALLY called in a RX to our local pharmacy BUT the vet wrote the dose incorrectly. As a result, we were out of medication long before we are allowed to get it refilled since it's a controlled substance. For the last 3 DAYS I've called 2 - 3 times to get this resolved. We have ZERO medication left and have NOT HAD A RESOLUTION to the issue! And nobody has called back. I'm HIGHLY disappointed. This is completely unacceptable as a service! I do NOT recommend!

First thing is I don't have transportation that's why I found better vet online ....they were supposed to bring the clinic to you,what happens at a clinic they weigh your pet and take his temperature they do blood work and imagine and an exam ...these ladies did none of that ...all I got was a 30 minute consult on what they think the lump on his groin could be and a recommendation to find another veterinarian clinic in my area ...I could have done that on my own ,and it would not have cost me 185.00 dollars for a consultation ...you see before you make an appointment you have to put your credit or debit card in there system ... would not be using them again.

Great as usual! Dr. Rice and Paige are not only thorough but extremely compassionate and empathetic to my little guy’s needs. I highly recommend them to anyone who has an animal that struggles with anxiety at vet visits as mine does. These ladies will take amazing care of you!
