The state of our services in this country just appals me every single time. I have to waste my entire day trying to get help when I work full time. I am calling and when I get transferred the people working hang up on me. Most of the time there is a robot saying they are too busy and that will automatically hang up on me. This is what encourages me to move away from this country. Where are our taxes going?

I called for rembersment of my walker repair cost.After waiting on holed for 35 minutes and after identifying myself and explaining my request for 15 minutes I was transferred and waited another 13 minutes on hold I had to start identifying myself all-over again answering 9 questions to another agent who was very aggressive and offensive. He said I should go to CLSC.RAMQ would reimburse only if a doctor has prescribed it and RAMQ has given it to me. When I asked if a GP could prescribe it so I can get a new one since my specialist is retired, he hanged up the phone on me.Is this the service I deserve after 40 years of paying tax for the salary these guys?Then they go to Ottawa or gather in Quebec city asking for raise and better condition to work ( sleep and play) from home.They are not happy to find out you recording them. I encourage everyone to record the calls and complain when its necessary.Why are they so afraid if they don't do anything wrong?Why decency and respect enforced and demanded only form clients?Why there is no accountability required from government agents? Sumitted request for Ramq card for 6 weeks now tried to call but there is no to pick up the phone as it is an automatic voice mail ! how do we contact them???? dont know if you notice but only local guide gives good reviews...

They hung up on me four times for speaking English and when I tried to speak French they said it was not good enough and hung up on me. Then I FINALLY got through to a bilingual agent and she apologized for their behaviour but that's not enough to cover the emotional damage I have from needing to be seen by a doctor but not being served a temporary card after four tries because I don't speak French well enough for them, until I finally got that English agent.Terrible service. Evil people.

I can't relate to all these negative reviews here. I had some issues with my information in their database, called and got through within ten minutes, the lady spoke perfect English and helped me with great patience.

i have never seen something like this in my life. i have been tying to get in contact with someone for a MONTH because of a mistake THEY made on my file. i made a complaint and still nothing. when i call, the automated message tells me they are too busy and hangs up on me, and if i ever get lucky and actually get put on hold, the agent hang up in my face and/or transfers me to the wrong department. makes me want to leave the country as soon as i graduate.

Despite many negative reviews,I found RAMQ Very efficient and quick!At the 1st week of Nov 2022,I submitted the online form (for countries with no agreement) - you have to be ready at 8:30 AM when they open the new slots and submit it instantly.Got the call in the mid of Nov 2022Got the forms in mail by end of Nov and mailed it backI got the cards in 3rd week of Dec 2022.!(for me, It's a card without a photo)

My mom can't get her health card until now. It has been more than 3 months now. The phone no one's answer it. My parents went to the main office to talk to an officer, no one is working at the office. It is ridiculous. This government wants to automate everything with out taking into consideration old people. I need to talk to someone? My mom who is now a resident of Quebec is living here but without a medical card.
