We stopped here for dinner and breakfast a few times as a kid, back in the late 1980's and early 1990's, while on family fishing trips. I remember the place being cozy and casual, and the food pretty good for such a remote place. On one of those trips, two locals were getting into a heated argument about the Leafs and the Habs, yelling at each other in a mixture of English and French. I remember that the other locals were just smiling and laughing, because apparently, those two guys were good friends and always argued about hockey. I'm almost 40 now, and would definitely eat here again, if I take my family on a similar fishing trip.

Yesterday we stopped by to have dinner. We ordered fish and chicken nuggets. Just after 15 minutes on the road, I started vomiting and had stomach cramps. My brother also got sick but I was so serious that I became admitted in the Chapleau’s hospital. The hospital admitted me and I stayed there whole night.I request the owner to ensure the freshness of the food.

Me and my family eat here almost every weekend when we're at our camp in spring, summer and fall. Wether it's for breakfast or dinner we have always enjoyed the food and hospitality.

I know this is cheating and all but this is my grandma and grandpa’s restaurant. I also worked there for a month in July of last year well working I got to know more of the locals who treat me very well. They(my grandparents) have had this restaurant since the 90s I have grow up in that restaurant me being 16 it’s like my second home. My grandpa does most of the cooking and grandma does the serving a long with other staff members. I decided to read the reviews for the restaurant and laughed at some thank you for liking it

I have had a very bad dinning experience with them. I got severely sick after eating their food. People be careful don’t eat their and if you have to then make sure the food is fresh and cooked properly.I urge local public health officials to inspect this restaurant for their food quality.

Had liver & onions and genuine corned beef sandwich. Generous portions. Both very tasty! Really nice fries. Friendly service. Very clean.Village about a kilometer off 101. Never would have found it without Google Maps. Last gas for 100 kms!Will stop next trip, for sure.

Been going to this place three years in a row as it is the only place to eat there when you are visiting the area. The food most is ok, don't dare ask for any substitutions you will be told things like we are not McDonald’s. Same person each year has helped us and is rude as can be seems to not even want your business. If you are not a local stay away they don't care to see you. Not one smile or even a full sentence out of their mouth, just awful. No customer service skills at all.
