Cochren Foundation & Repair Company

After making contact with this company and sending in pictures of the work needing to be done it was radio silence. Subsequent calls not returned. Finally after 2 months they emailed saying no thanks they couldn't (wouldn't) do the work. Don't bother contacting them. It is a waste of time.

We had a foundation problem in the basement that required replacing a breeze block wall. Cochren was excellent to work with. From Carole in the office to John, the owner who came to look at the problem and told us what needed to be done. The employees who completed the job were fast and professional. They worked long hours to get it done quickly before rain was forecast later in the week. Their prices were also very reasonable. It is very worrisome to have a foundation problem and they put my mind at ease.

After not considering a local and reputable foundation repair contractor due to the long wait period we decided to hire Cochren due to the short wait period. Big mistake. I have to echo the two other reviews regarding company contact. Despite two scheduled meetings with Mr. Cochren to discuss some issues noted during the job, both were cancelled. He never did come by to discuss our concerns. They left the property a mess (also noted by a mason and landscaper following their job) and returned to clean up only after our insistence. Within 1 1/2 years of their completed work, we are burdened with digging the job back up to repair an issue which was present at the time of the initial repair. Pro: Beautiful Website - Con: Beautiful WebsitePS: Compelled to add today after digging and exposing Cochren's job, it was noted that two of the helical piers were NOT bolted into the plate bracket at the bottom. The bolts were absent. The pin was angled in with the plate sitting only halfway under the footing. The single bladed helical piers used were of minimum standard.There are a multitude of positive reviews on their website - can only speak for our experience which was quite regrettable.

After making contact with this company and having someone take a look at the problem I having, I was given useless info (for a company I had already contacted) and then couldn't get anyone to return my calls or emails despite asking for a quote for very specific work. I still haven't heard anything from them. I had high hopes after seeing their great website but was extremely disappointed.
