Sushi on the Strip Cranbrook
Fresh ingredients- really the critical element for any sushi restaurant- and very fair portions are the biggest highlights. The texture and flavour of the staples (sashimi, nigiri sushi, maki, miso, etc.) is spot-on; the rolls have solid ‘filling:rice ratio. My only comment, completely personal preference, would be leaving the sauce off of some rolls (eg. Rainbow and Dynamite), that taste great on their own without extra stuff.Overall a positive experience, we will be back.

Sushi on the Strip Cranbrook
Probably the worst sushi restaurant we have been in BC. We came with two kids and we did not like the following about the food: the kids menu's chicken was cold and looked cooked days ago, the gomae's color was brown-ish and did not seem fresh (8$ - we expected more), the miso soup was watery (definitely without bonito base), the salad had *a lot* of dressing, portions were small-ish.Fish was fresh and tasty and that deserves two stars in and on itself.Finally, the bathroom was not clean, with some sticky slime on the floor. A changing table would have also been really helpful for us but none was present.

I would say that this was the freshest sashimi I have ever had. Everything tasted great and was extremely well prepared.

Came a couple years ago and they left such a good impression we decided to stop in when in town this week. Definitely made the right decision! Food was incredible. Quality top notch. Service perfect. They renovated and made it look even better than before! Great job we will return again!

Very nice atmosphere, clean and fresh. Sushi was alright, above average perhaps although the Tuna felt a bit less fresh. Still a very nice vibe

Our server is sweet and prompt. Chef always presents a esthetically pleasing and delicious plate. For sushi in Cranbrook its my favorite spot.

How are we blessed with so many amazing sushi places in the area!!?? The Takoyaki is amazing here, just order one, you will like it! The Bento boxs are a quick and delicious option with a little bit of everything. I had the beer variety today. Service is always quick and friendly. They also have a delivery option as well. The flowers and decorations are done extremely well, and are always a delight to ponder upon when we come in.
