It's a brewery / restaurant. Beer is a little thick. Restaurant food is not very good. Service is very good. The two stars are mainly for the food. Burger bun was not fully baked.

We stopped there completely randomly on our way between Carleton and Rimouski, what a nice surprise. Tried their blond (lager?) which was very good, so were the burgers and the staff!

Food was ok, but could have been better. Service was spotty at best and you had to watch your order from being mixed up. If they pick up that your not a quebecoi theyll switch to talking to you in englidh even though your talking to them in french.

Good service, decent drink menu, we loved ours, lots of home brewed beers. Nachos were great guacamole fantastic, poutine and pizza not super, should try, impressing place for small town

All beers on the menu were mind blowing!Staff was all incredibly friendly, welcoming and knew thier products very well! I was stuck in town due to a truck breaking down during a trip to Gaspesie , La Captive made the time here so much better! All food was great as well!5/5!

They even have the most delicious vegetarian burger!Relaxed vibe, seasonal, locally crafted beer and a cool playlist, this place has what you need to quench your hunger and hang around for a while.

Choices of 7 crafted beer when we went there. All tasted pretty good. The service is a bit slow but understandable considering how crowded is the place usually. The food is pretty great. I would recommend the Nagano Burger which is porc, caramelised onions and Brie cheese. Will definitely go again if I come back to the are!

We stopped at La Captive on our way back to Montreal to eat and we had good burgers, a fresh lemonade and my boyfriend had the beer tasting menu, which he liked. Also, the ambiance is super chill.
