Shoppers Drug Mart

I've never really had an issue with this store. It's where I go for all prescriptions and medications for my household. But I went there just yesterday and saw that they now only have 2 checkouts that are manned by employees. The rest of the checkout area has been filled with self-checkout stalls. I can't express how disappointing this is. Maybe I'm too old school, but I prefer to deal with a real person at the cash.

Knowledgeable staff and self checkout for privacy buying “embarrassing” items

I haven't had a good experience at this store in over a year. Went down today and cashier kept pushing the self check out (which Im assuming the company tells them too) we aren't blind just not interested. Then when we finally got our order paid for the cashier called up the next person before we had time to grab our bags....but ppl are expected to stay 6 ft apart, nor did they disinfect between customers. I do not blame the workers as I believe more than anything it is likely due to poor management or business. This company needs to learn how to treat their customers and likely employees better. 2 stars is only because they had most of what I had been looking for.

This location is my go to when I wanna buy fragrances . They will help you select the right one for you . I’ve got don’t know how many perfumes from here . The cosmetics staff is amazing and very friendly. I have been to other shoppers in the city but they just ruin your whole experience of purchasing a fragrance . These people are the best .They always give out perfume samples if they have any and doesn’t give you a look when you ask for it . It’s a very simple concept other stores don’t understand that if I don’t try a sample and wear it for a day or two how am gonna know that I like it and what’s gonna convince me to spend my money on that expensive bottle of perfume .The helpful and friendly staff here is the only reason I always choose this location to shop from .

I went into the Shoppers Drug Mart today. In order to enter the store I was forced to use the door into the perfume area. There was a DJ, of all things, playing music so load with the base so strong. It was obnoxious. What were you thinking? I got a migraine from the noise. I went to check out and was asked to do self check out. I will not do self checkout….if you pay me a cashiers salary I might consider it. I will not go back to Shoppers Drug Mart again. Your store is used by many older people. The loud noise was unacceptable.

I have always been a Shoppersdrugmart customer. pharmacy and cosmetics. Crown Street location has been only for last 5yrs as my Dr office is in same building. Westmoreland aka east Saint John will always be my family's home base. Either way I found big difference do to products and demands. Overall very grateful for the staff in both. Upset points are no longer giving out for prescriptions. Thank you Cindy Simon

Nice employees. I understand why they choose not to dispense Methadone, however, they are generalizing methadone patients. Not all methadone patients steal, or are insensitive to those around them. A few bad apples spoiled the whole bunch in this case.

I am giving them a low rating based on having the stinky perfume right by the entrance. For anyone,like me,who is sensitive to smells. Hate having to hold my breath going in the door.Staff are great and very helpful.

Couldn't even shop for the rest of my items because as soon as I walked in I was asked by a long red haired lady to pay as soon as I grabbed a bottle of proactiv. Very rude and made me uncomfortable. Did not want to shop for the rest of my items as it seemed like she didn't trust me to pay. Will not be going back.

Great service and experience at the Beauty Bar opening event. DJ on site made the experience one of a kind. Fun to see folks dancing & shopping.
