One of the better places to eat on campus, if it is open. They close most of the summer. Really it's for the students in residence and you can pay to use it. Buffet style with changing options. The foods good, and all you can eat although you are not allowed a tray so you run back and forth. Set price for each meal, and discounts for staff and students. Lunch will run you $10.00 to $12.00, but check first. Don't forget your student or staff card. They take Visa and cash. Large 8 person tables for bigger groups, nice view of the river.

Good food and safe place to be. 5 minutes walk from the bus station and very close to most classrooms. A little expensive in regular semesters but gets cheaper over summer if you don't buy meal plan. You get a shower and a washroom in all the rooms. Heating and cooling air ducts can get loud if you don't like sound. You get a great view over the river

Pretty nice place to crack open a Labatt Blue and enjoy the night. Grounds keeper is an absolute tool though let's the grass grow over 3 feet tall in the summer.

13 floors, each floor has a common lounge and a kitchenette. There is a general community kitchen on Mary Speechly Hall. Dining services are also available. Although this is the most expensive residence on campus though. May not be worth the money.

Stayed here for a conference on the 13th floor. Everything, especially the view and front desk efficiency, was good -- except that some machine above the ceiling would come on intermittently and very loudly rumble at 10-100 Hz. It was incredibly distracting, since you'd also feel the shaking, and loud enough to wake you up in the night, even with earplugs. The A/C and the vent were also very loud, and for whatever reason the A/C would turn back on of its own accord after being turned off. The overall noise level of the apartment was unacceptable.

The Red River view from my dorm room is just too beautiful to describe in fall. It is just picturesque and a bit like Amazon River. One of the drawbacks of Pembina Hall Residence is that it is too pricey compared to other Rez like Mary Speechly Hall and AVM.

Well, it's a residence for students, so not just anyone is allowed to get in, although there are some places accessible to everyone, it's still a good place to stay or maybe see a friend
