I've been here twice to get my dreadlocks tidied and tightened up. AJ was outstanding!! I haven't cut my hair for over 7 years now and this is by far the best place I've been. If you want locks or need to keep them maintained, don't go anywhere else!

I recently took my two sons to Ammerose Hair Salon, and we had an excellent experience. One of my sons got cornrows, and the other got comb coils, and the results were fantastic! The staff at Amaros Hair Salon were wonderful - they were skilled, attentive, and friendly throughout the process. In addition to the amazing service, I was also pleased with their affordable prices. This was my first time to the salon and it did not disappoint! I am so HAPPY with my hair and the overall experience was amazing! V took the time to see me last minute and explain everything to me as I am quite new to the world of weaves!! Lanre’s work is sooo quick and neat! She is the absolute best!! Thank you so much!! Finally found a hair studio in Vancouver who can handle my hair!!!!

The staff were very accommodating for a last minute appointment and making sure I was done on time for my evening engagement.It was the first time that I braid my hair, I just love love it. The color my stylist selected and the 6 hour conversation was lovely. Happy to have found this gem. Highly recommend ❤️

I contacted the salon about a week ago, asking to have my and my mum’s hair straightened for an upcoming wedding. the team responded very quickly and efficiently.we had our appointment today and the stylists were incredibly kind and friendly, and the service was excellent! Both me and my mum love our hair, and we even got tips from the stylists about ensuring the hair lasts and general haircare tips. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone, I will definitely go again next time I’m in Vancouver!

I’ve been to this salon twice and with two different experienced stylists. Both pampered my locks and were entertaining conversationalists. My hair looks and feels amazing and gives me a little extra pep in my step. I highly recommend Ammerose for anyone with natural hair looking for a change of pace.

Had an upcoming wedding several weeks ago and I must say the stylist Kenta did a phenomenal job. It was so easy to book an appointment, and reasonably priced. I'll 100% be returning whenever I need to get my hair braided again. Highly recommended
