So many varieties of excellent food and drink. Desserts are fabulous. The service was excellent. Haritha was our server and she was very attentive and we enjoyed their lovely patio. We always come here for special events and get their cakes! We recommend.

We had a lovely time at Symposium. Our server (Will) kept us comfortable, entertained, and well hydrated. He described the menu options thoroughly, was patient as we took forever to order (we are two dear old friends catching up on life), and he tolerated our baby's chaos delightfully. We would go back in a heartbeat! We also loved the renaissance style decor on the walls. 5 starts for sure.Oh, and the food was delicious! The butter chicken poutine and the chicken pad Thai were both excellent choices. The cheesecakes were amazing too.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced here at Symposium Café. The environment was super clean and there were lots of spacious booths to choose from for seating. The menus had lots of good options to choose from. The staff, Andre, went above and beyond to make sure our large party had a good time there and that our expectations were met. The food, salad, and desserts we ordered were all in generous portions and made with fresh and tasty ingredients. The prices were okay, although Tuesdays' pasta deal would only be considered as a 'deal' if we weren't planning to add meat to our pasta. Otherwise, the pasta price would just be like in any other restaurant.Another thing I need to specifically mention is that the (walnut?) cake was absolutely delicious. I wasn't expecting to find such a beautiful, fresh, nicely textured, and perfectly tasting cake in a quiet café near Costco, really.The only downside of our experience was that the number of staff in the store seemed to be short and therefore the service was quite slow. However, I would still recommend this quiet café near Costco and cannot wait to be back and try more things from their menu!

Great variety of desserts and hit drinks. Everything was delicious and fresh. Service by Arisbel was super friendly and efficient. She checked in on us a good amount, but didn't pester us.

We had a wonderful breakfast of Eggs Benedict, Steak & Eggs with sweet potatoe fries & a Belgium Waffle with fruit topping. Everything was delicious & whip cream was added to our waffle upon request. Portion sizes were perfect. Evan was a fantastic server, very intuitive & friendly. We enjoyed the decor & ambiance indoors. We have plans to return soon!

The service is great and the prices are pretty good. The food itself is a bit limited for my liking but I'm sure other people find the selection to be plenty. I'd love to see a few more 'standard' dishes be added as in my experience the current selection is very unique and tailors to specific individuals. Adding more drinks would also be great. Would love to see some cocktails or non alcoholic alternatives.I do find the deserts to be good. You can tell that they're made healthier than regular store baught cakes or sweats, which is a bonus.

Ordered a medium rare steak sandwich, was well done and I don't mean it was done well. Tiny pieces of overcooked beef. To their credit they offered me something else but this took so long to prepare I didn't have time to wait for another meal. They didn't really seem to care that I was disappointed.

Great breakfast with plenty of vegetarian options. Home fries are delicious! Our server, Evan, was very friendly and so much fun! Will definitely be back.
