Sushi Edoichi

The sushi was fabulous (good portions and delicious), but I want to call out a small thing. When we got our sushi (delivery) someone had gone through the effort to label the container lid so that we could easily figure out what each roll was. Such a small detail, but I think it speaks to the care they put into their work.

Found this restaurant on skip and fell in love. Picked up at the location, staff was nice and restaurant tidy. Quality of the food is great for the price.

I am a hard person to impress with sushi, however once I had sushi at edoichi, I had to agree with the reviews. The rolls were on the small side and were expensive (I had red dragon and tnt) but the flavor was awesome. 10/10 for taste on the tnt roll. I would definitely recommend!

This place is DELICIOUS! We just ordered from them through Skip and I think it’s our new favourite sushi place. The rolls are packed with quality filling (not just cucumber like a lot of other sushi places). They actually give you very generously rationed rolls. My boyfriend said the chicken roll tasted like a whole chicken wing was in one piece. The salmon sashimi was some of the best I’ve had in the city. We will definitely be ordering again!

Very fresh, excellent choices, loved the green dragon roll and the rainbow roll! We called in our order to pick up. The takeout counter is located inside a grocery store that specializes in Asian ingredients. What a great find! Next time I'm in Winnipeg I'll be coming back here!

We have been ordering through a delivery app for quite some time now. On one order, we purchased a condiment we have paid for, but the restaurant failed to add it to our order. We asked for a refund through the app on the condiment (approx $1.12), but we're forced to give a thumbs down based on how the app was designed. The owner of the establishment took this into offense and now bans our address/phone number for future orders. Although the food is exceptional, the way the owner decided to handle our account is very disappointing and made a quick judgement against us. For someone who agreed to have their business be part of a food delivery app, they chose an extreme measure to deal with us for an item they have missed on a previous order. It would have been also satisfactory if the restaurant called us and said that they cannot supply said condiment. Very disappointed. My partner called the restaurant to clarify the situation, and we were told by an employee that we should take our business elsewhere; all for a $1.12 condiment . We will definitely be going somewhere else for our sushi fix.

Amazing fresh ingredients. You can tell they use quality products from their fresh veggies, THICK sashimi, great packaging.. and even their takeout soy sauce isn’t the generic flavourless stuff.Great job Sushi Edoichi! Keep up the great work and I’ll keep referring friends and family your way.

Used to have some of the best best vegetarian sushi options in the city, but they seem to be progressively culling them from their menu.Their Forest Roll was the best vegetarian sushi I'd ever had, then one day it disappeared from the menu. I started getting the Guam Roll which was also good, then they removed that as well, along with many other of their vegetarian rolls. I truly appreciated the fact they had actual veggie options that catered to a variety of tastes and weren't just the standard plain avocado, cucumber, asparagus, etc. but that now seems to be what their menu is steadily being reduced to. They don't even have assorted veggie tempura on their menu anymore.

Great value. Large portions and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.

The service was amazing. The staff took my mother and my orders very close to closing time. Portions are MASSIVE. Very much a hidden gem. Highly recommend!
