Asset west management will be non-responsive , should there be a concern to email , calls , message at front desk… for over 3 months . Any professional company would have called back to discuss. This has put a former tenant in a very stressful situation, at no fault of them. Luckily, they have found another excellent unit with different company.

First, I would like to thank you Darren, for all the care you have shown me in the years you have looked after my property. You are always available when it comes to any issues that come up. The fact I can live in another Country and have you over look my investment is worth everything to me. My trust that you make the best judgements for my tennant, whom by the way , praise you, is a life saver for me.At the time when I did live there, I was a Boardmember for years and watched you put your all into the entire building with the Board. You monthly inspections are in depth and nothing gets past you. Ijust want to say, THANK YOU for all the years of of this worry free experience I have.Asset West was very small when I hired you and it has grown to be a upstanding company. All your employee's are dedicated to make you the trustworthy Company that gives me the freedom and stress-free life style I can now have. Bravo Asset West keep up the good Work!

It was such a pleasure having Asset West as our property management company for our Seton Townhome. After being on the board for a few years working directly with their team, I had the pleasure of meeting Darren Potter. He is one of the most positive and helpful individuals I have ever met and provides so much guidance and insight into how condominiums operate. Additionally, Florencia Fernandez Ovalle, the manager of our property, is so quick and efficient at rectifying issues. I cannot say enough great things about Asset West. We will definitely be using their services for any future condominium we purchase.

I do not like to write negative reviews, but I feel I must in this case. The staff at Asset West try their best, I am sure, and they are pleasant to work with, but their management of our 38-unit townhouse complex was not good, and the managing director/broker would rarely return the Board's requests for guidance. A property manager should be sufficiently knowledgeable to assist and lead a condo Board but, in most cases, this was lacking which resulted in the Board members having to take on many responsibilities and tasks typically handled by a management company. Board members are volunteer resident owners who do not necessarily have the expertise to deal with the complexities of legislation, issuing contracts with service providers, and seeking reliable and trustworthy trades people. The lack of leadership from this management company resulted in an onerous and time-consuming responsibility for the Board members. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Asset West as a condominium management firm.

I have just purchased a property managed by Asset West. I called into their Calgary office to have a few questions answered. Kayla answered the phone when I called; she was very friendly and helpful. She passed me onto Karen. Karen was able to answer every single one of my questions! She was so patient, and really knows her stuff! I will definitely be calling Karen with more questions soon!! I am very excited to work closely with Karen and the team at Asset West.

I've been working with Lia, and she is extremely helpful and always available. I've had to reach out to her couple of times, and every time her welcoming attitude and attention to details leaves me happy and smiling! She is great at problem solving, and makes the entire experience very smooth for all involved parties.Def looking forward to continue working with her :)

Asset West is a great company to deal with! Zia is very patient, accommodating, and hardworking, managing rentals for us. Darren, a very good business person shared his insights with us. Danielle is great on the admin side, provides very quick response to requests. Karen, Richel, and the accounting staff are all very nice! Great team! Thank you!

The team at Asset West is equipped with a vast of knowledge in their field. We had the pleasure to stay at one of the property with my family we were very impressed. Thank you so much Darren for the great experience.

Asset west was hired by my landlord Claudia Cisterna my second year renting with her. She was a terrible landlord, not following any landlord/tenant rules. Asset west came in after I had signed a second term lease with Claudia and tried to bully me into re signing the lease with them. I did not. On my move out they made it very difficult to get my damage deposit back, stating a ton of damages done to the property. They did not even know what shape the property was in when I moved in as they were not given a move in report from the owner. Asset West is extremely unprofessional, be prepared to fight for you damage deposit as they will find any reason to try to keep it.

Asset West has been managing our property for over five years and overall we've been very satisfied. Karen, has been managing our property for three years and she has done a stellar job - she's professional, a great communicator, organized, timely and responsive. Well done Karen, Darren and the rest of the Asset West team.
