I went to this restaurant on a long weekend and tourists were all over the city. It must have been one of the busiest weekends of the year. Unfortunately the waitress never came to serve us, but the staff at the bar tried their best to take care of us.On the other side, everything we ordered was perfect and very tasty. The drinks were refreshing and perfectly balanced and the food was packed with authentic flavors from both peruvian and chinese culture. Definitely enjoyed our experience although the service was missing.

Booked the restaurant not knowing that it's Peruvian-Chinese fusion (I thought it was just Peruvian), and got very confused about the menu and decor haha. The food was pretty good, though. We got the skewers set, ceviche (catch of the day), pollo chi jau kai, and the pastel choclo. Would definitely recommend getting the skewers and pastel choclo. I think the dessert was our favourite part of dinner.

You had me at a Peruvian Chinese Tapas!! What a terrific night of attentive staff, delicious food and interactive dining! We sat at the bar and watched out expert Bartender shake my Pisco Sour! (And toast my dessert cocktail) And just to the left of us, a talented sous chef was preparing tapas… our mouths were watering as we watched her work culinary magic! Our tip: get the duck!!! It is amazing!! So was the octopus!

After being kicked out of an other restaurant because the owner was so rude, we came to this one with the best owner Sebastien. It was totally by chance that we found this gem. The food was amazing, drinks were 10/10, bit pricey but so worth it. Good music, amazing service. After our dinner, he took us to his bar next door and offered us shots. Thank you again ☺️

I went to this restaurant because of the decor and the interesting fusion of Peruvian and Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere and the design of the restaurant were great! They even made their speakers suspended from the ceiling part of their decor. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, I was disappointed in the main dishes. Especially the fried rice since it was very salty. My friends were on the same page. But the appetizers were good and I did enjoy them. Maybe ask for less salty when you order, if you're use to salty food. Chifa is worth a try. Also check out the corridor of their washrooms in the basement. It's original.

The food was really really tasty and the combinations of flavours were amazing. Definitely will come back. The cocktails were so good (maracuya sour & lucky lychee), also really recommend the pato caliente and ceviche chino latino. We also got the anticucho de pulpo and the crab which were tasty.

The best food I've ever had in my life. The first bite of shrimp was life-changing. It was creamy and soft like a pillow. I've never had shrimp like that before. Heck, I don't even like shrimp normally but the moment I bit into the shrimp my eyes widened so wide I thought they were gonna pop out of my skull. We started with four dishes and then ended up ordering three more plus two drinks and dessert because it was all so good. I was only in Montreal for a few days and had a flight the next morning. While in the restaurant I seriously contemplated changing my flight to the day after so I could eat at this place one more time. I don't know how this place doesn't have 5 stars or even a Michelin star. The three staff members we interacted with were also all extremely friendly, kind, and accommodating. I will definitely be flying to Montreal again just for this restaurant.

This was one of my top 10 favorite meals, ever! Every dish was amazing, but especially the traditional ceviche. I also recommend trying the lasagna rolls. Very creative, and the kimchi with them was perfect. The Causa and the Lomo Saltado were full of flavor. I loved the ambiance of the place... perfect for a fun date.

Interesting combination of Peruvian - Chinese fusion - tapas style, so come with friends. Purists, may not be sure about the mix, looking for authentic Peruvian.. (or Chinese (we’re only blocks away from Chinatown)) since Peruvian itself is distinctly great cuisine of itself, Chifa does provide some interesting flavours. Cocktails - great variety; fire alert.. the Jalapina packs some heat, so ‘pull’ the. Jalapeño when you’ve had enough. Chicgarron (fried calamari) was rather bland. Pass. Top marks to the Dumplings, Chaufa de Mariscos. Good, were the Combo skewers, and Camarones. Prices are on the high side - you may be questioning ‘value’ when you get the bill. Overall: A for effort, the ambiance, and of course the staff. While some items on the menu lacked ‘identity’, and flavour not quite what you may expect, they have some winning ‘ingredients’ at Chifa. But mind the price..

Great vibe and delicious food, the skewers we got mixed Chinese flavours and Peruvian ingredients very well together, proteins were all very tender and flavourful. Cocktails are delicious too.
