I've been living here for a year and a half. They recently changed management and I thought the previous manager did a way better job than the current manager. It would be nice if they had some kind of system in place to give the tenants a chance to share concerns and issues and possible solutions. Tenants don't have a chance to voice problems and concerns and I feel it would be helpful to include tenants and staff when trying to come up with a solution instead of the higher ups that have no idea what actually goes on here on a daily basis, decide what changes need to be made to better the program in general

Low barrier" ? No barrier!"

This is a low barrier shelter. It's now run by Community Builders whom have hired a very young and inexperienced staff demographic.Clients can access the shelter 24/7 and it's a decent alternative to a doorway or the cold hard pavement.

No longer Rain City, now Community Builders Shelter. 40 beds, couples allowed, pets okay, low barrier shelter. Laundry, no cooking. 24 hour supermarket across the street. Usually filled at capacity. 1 bin, 1 bag, 1 bicycle allowed per person. Friendly residents, considerate staff. All day/night bus 2 blocks, Sky Train 9 blocks.

No paper towels anywhere, despite co19 virus epidemic. The amount of thieving amongst these homeless people is preposterous and phenomenal. The food is awful and the security is outrageous. Overall, a pathetic FOR PROFIT low barrier shelter.
