Lake Avenue Dog Off-leash Beach
There was such a wide spectrum of types, breeds, sizes, shapes of dogs that visited this beach today!It was so awesome and a lot of fun, if you love dogs it's a place u need to visit at least once! With your dog of course.There was a shiny black female pug that was a total pudger, everytime she turned my way I couldn't help but smile, her owners told me that salmon oil is added to her food and has made a huge difference in the appearance of her hair and how silky it is, was pretty interesting.There is an outhouse and few benches but the experience was great!

It’s great to have access to the water. The pup loves it. Down sides are lack of shade and seating areas as well as lack of parking. If you don’t need those things it’s excellent.

It's a beach. with dogs.There isn't much more you need, besides snacks of course. This place has a beautiful view, lots of places to sit, and typically isn't busy at all.Highly recommended with doughnuts.

We didn't love this off leash dog area. It's right by the bridge and quite small. There were some shady characters hanging around. There were no poop bags or water fountains available. We wouldn't go back

Another excellent dog Beach in Kelowna...well worth checking it out...so close to downtown Kelowna and only minutes away from our motel.

Wonderful place to let the dogs off leash, close to city park and downtown. Wish it was bigger, but it is great for our little dog.

Lake Avenue Dog Off-leash Beach
Just look at all this beauty. I was walking the trail and found mushroom beach. I love all the dogs. Sand. Wind. Waves. I think this was Canada Day 2023. Unfortunately the city of Kelowna cancelled the celebration of fireworks due to these waves right here. They stayed the day. Info the night. Beauty. This beach has a sketchy bathroom. Or can quickly walk over to city park bathrooms. Cheers.

Great beach with lake access for your dogs! Never too busy, room for dogs to fetch, swim & run around with benches for you to sit. Afterwards, go for a stroll under the bridge on your way to Kelowna City Park.

Great little dog park - an awesome place for your pup to get some playtime and cool down in the water this summer! It's a decent way away from busy roads but still not fully enclosed, so best for dogs that listen.
