Once Upon A Child
Our favorite place to find good deals on baby/toddler items. Lots of great, clean clothes in all different sizes and brands. Find leggings and diaper shirts at 10 for $10. You can also bring your own used clothing to sell to the store, however, they do not take very much nor do they pay a lot, but it's great to bring clothes to them, see what they take, then donate the rest.

The price of the clothing here is fantastic. I bought a used Christmas outfit for less than 25% of what it would be new. Clothes are very reasonably priced and in great condition. I just got a practically new car seat cover for $10!I always consider the condition of the clothes before I buy. They have fantastic sales too (10 items for $10) but when you consider the cost of new, and the fantastic quality they sell, you can't beat the prices here.

I love visiting this location, it does feel a little bit crowded but that's because there is a lot of product! Feels way more organized than some others I have been to. Friendly staff, and bringing clothes in to sell is super easy and fast!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Once Upon a Child, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional customer service I received from John and his staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I found everything I needed for my child, and their knowledge of the products was impressive. The store had a fantastic variety of products for children of all ages, from gently-used clothing to toys and equipment. The prices were also very reasonable. I was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the store, making it easy to find what I was looking for. Overall, I had a fantastic shopping experience and will definitely be returning to Once Upon a Child Barrie in the future. Thank you, John and the staff, for your outstanding service!

Once Upon A Child
I have loved this place for years but, now it depends on who you get when you bring in clothes to be looked at for money. I happened to put in bin something that was bought there but over return date and they refused it saying too old ....it came from your store few months earlier and wasn't even worn. Us moms are trying to get some money back and some staff take the item and some reject the item. Also some things had stains like oil and threads or even a hole and selling it at crazy price.

This is a great place to get kids clothes. You save a lot of money trying to clothes young ones here. Check it out in Barrie On. Off of Dunlop St from the hwy.

One star is for the customer service and friendly portion. Love this storeHowever it’s not child friendly with access no push button to help with strollers and bad location. Also had only a couple items and called from the parking lot because my kids were sleeping in the car and they couldn’t just run out to say no we can’t take this instead made me carry the toys inside with the kids and told me no lol. Yeah sounds like a me problem however to me working at a store directed for kids they should have better customer service skills and social skills.

They don’t take a lot your clothes. Probably better to donate to a new mom, a shelter or thrift store.Also, do not bring anything to the store on a Monday unless it’s right when the doors open. Otherwise they will not take your stuff.

Staff is usually super friendly, and the prices are great. Always lots to browse and rarely leave empty handed. For used clothing and kids stuff, compared to what's around, it's probably our first stop always.
