Lander Treatment Centre

My 18 year old son made the steps to get treatment. He did everything he needed with his family doctor, filled out the forms etc. He did the phone interview in the summer of 2020 and was denied treatment. He was told he needed a more intense treatment program and was given zero options to move forward. I called Landers and they refused to give me any info on why he was denied. I then called his family doctor who was shocked he was denied treatment. He confirmed that yes Landers denied him. We were back at square 1 after months and months of trying to access this facility. My son never received the treatment he desperately needed and passed away Oct 1, 2020. He was left feeling hopeless by Landers after being denied treatment and not given any direction to where he should go to get this treatment that Landers said he needed. You failed my son. Remember his name. CAMERON. He needed help, he wanted help. You failed him.

Best decision I have made in a long time, great food, great staff. Since attending treatment I am 70 days sober today witch is the longest I have went since the age of 13

This place is an extremely excellent treatment center for addictions. They also focus on the mental health side of addiction with the recent hiring of a mental health therapist, so I am revising my review to 5 stars! This is amazing as addiction always has a mental health component. The experience you get here is excellent. I’ll go into depth below.Here you won’t just receive individual counseling and group therapy, but there are so many great individual and group activities to keep you occupied! You will make friends that will last long after your short few weeks stay here! And don’t listen tho the people who say the food sucks, it’s actually pretty good!I’ve been here twice, 5 years apart, and really enjoyed my stay both times. The leatherworking workshop was by far my favorite place to hang out and make cool things!

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this program. I attended voluntarily, and the staff, accommodations, and food were all fantastic. The recreational activities made the stay very enjoyable.Most importantly, the counselors care, and know exactly what they are doing. The program opens your eyes to so many introspective aspects that definetly can help you deal with whatever addiction concern you have, if you are willing to buy in and truly want to make a difference in your own life.10/10 would recommend.Thank you Lander

Well let's see I spent 6 days in a detox in order to enter this facilty I also had to fill in forms twice just to be robbed and then be removed on the word of another client saying I was threatening. Was a real waste of my effort. Seems if you absolutely want to get help for your issues perhaps try somewhere else. Seems only those who are forced in to treatment end up there and the ones who actually are hoot to be there to get the work done are punished. Favourite complaint by staff. The knocked twice quickly entered my room and I was spoken to about being naked in my room while I was getting dressed after a shower. I was informed I should be more aware

I graduated from Landers in January 2010, and to be honest I don't remember much during my stay. I wasn't there for the food or a king size bed, I was there to begin my journey into sobriety. What I do remember is how the staff was professional, strict and supportive. The rules are in place for a reason and someone was always available to talk to when needed . Can you imagine a bunch of alcoholics and addicts trying to get sober without any structure? It just wouldn't work. Most importantly in my opinion was the weekly guests that came in to share information about the programs available after treatment. This planted a seed that has since grown in to something wonderful and as a result of this I haven't had a drink since. If you're ready to do the work and want to live happy, joyous and free I suggest Lander land as a stepping stone into an amazing life of sobriety.

I've went to Lander's Treatment Centre twice & I'm thinking about going back again, my Life being sober was Great but I fell off the wagon this past Spring, the Ranch I was working Seasonal for killed me once in 2017, but between EMS, Stars & Foothills Hospital got me back together, than this spring I had another bad Accident @ the same Ranch so I quit, I had a break up with a Girlfriend, my younger Brother passed away in June from an overdose, it's been a very tough year, but I know from my past experience with Lander's Treatment Centre, Excellent Staff, housing & Food, Programs they have get a person back on track, if you're willing to get help. For anyone to bash Lander's Treatment Centre you're wrong, you mustn't want help. Lander's Treatment Centre is Professional, with Great People. I do have to get back on track & I need their help. Worst escape room I've seen but the staff and food are great
