Such an amazing little shop. The young woman who worked the cash inside was extremely helpful and helped me select great stocking stuffers and goodies for myself. The chocolate drink was so good too I came back a second day in a row with my kids. The Winter Market is a hit this year at Maisonette!

The best hot chocolate ever. My husband thought the sign outside was a good marketing technique but did that sign live up to it's promise. Wow. Even the hot chocolate in Belgium couldn't beat this one. It was pure melted chocolate goodness and the only other place which kinda came close was in Philly. I think I can stop searching now that we live here and found the perfect spot. Just praying that we don't move away from this spot. If anything, I hope we can move closer to keep coming back!

Not a welcoming environment tbh. I was the only one in the shop and was waiting to be cashed out. Instead, when I approached the cash, the woman at the cash spent 5 minutes talking over me to the woman at the stand outside about how they’ll clean the buckets at the end of the shift (they’ll soak it instead of scrubbing) while I waited and waited. No hello, no pardon me, no acknowledgement. Even if I tried to make conversation during the transaction she was cold and rude. The cashier would also sample things for people seemingly at random but if you paid attention they fit a certain demographic. Shame because the chocolate isn’t bad, I’ll just buy from a 3rd party retailer or find somewhere else since the service is not welcoming. I really don’t want to come back here

The quality of the hot chocolate here was soo good. So creamy and chocolaty. Though the quantity of it could have been more. Must grab one if you are in distillery district.

Worst customer service.I paid $8 for 2 hot chocolate- shot sized. It was the worst hot chocolate of my life. Not worth it.

Tasty and delicious chocolates and teas. We're glad to stop by and check this place out. The staff/owner is really sweet and helpful, which is the more reason for us to buy some of her products (on top of having excellent quality). One the places I'll recommend for chocolate lovers visiting the Distillery area.

Arrived 30 minutes before the place closed and we told they were not making any more beverages. I understand if it was a few minutes before it closes, but we have 30 minutes, seriously? The employee was completely checked out, seemed disinterested in being there, didn’t acknowledge us for a few minutes, which is wild considering the store is a small space, there’s no way she didn’t see us, she was probably just hoping her lackadaisical attitude would drive us away. When we finally asked before she was looking everywhere else (about 20 minutes before closing) she said they weren’t doing beverages. Sigh. What a dud.

I have been coming here for the shot of hot chocolate for a long time! The quality has changed recently and not in a good way. The shot was too sweet and not creamy like the old times. That’s sad and I’m not going back.
