Great experience here. Ordered clams and fries and they were SOOO good. Our server Morgan was amazing. We were 16 people whom landed at once and she looked after us efficiently and so politely. 5 stars for Morgan!!

Party of 5 on Friday August 27,2021. We stopped for an early dinner of pizza,chicken wings,nachos,and fish cakes. Everything was wonderful from the food to the friendly welcoming staff and excellent service!! The lovely gesture of the “Happy Birthday”pie was very much appreciated. Thank you. Deb

Wow! If you haven’t been here, you have got to stop by if you are in the Five Islands area or touring that part of the province. We were there Saturday eve and can’t say enough about this place. Owners Maria and Victor as well as the staff are friendly, upbeat and inviting. I had the fish and chips which was some of the best I’ve ever had.... huge portions and the batter was amazing. My wife had the chicken wings and were equally as good! There was live entertainment that evening with the “Island boys”. These guys killed it, and if you ever have a chance to see them, you won’t be disappointed. We spent the eve there and had heard great things about their pizza, made from scratch on site in the wood fire oven so we ordered one to go. It was delicious! We stayed the night in well priced rooms above the pub. Although they were not open until noontime on Sunday, In the morning we were treated to the best cup of coffee and blueberry muffins. This is definitely a hidden gem. Thank you Maria, Victor, BJ and the rest of the staff for the hospitality and for making us feel at home. We will definitely be back!Robin and Mary

Glacial slow service (unless you are a local). We ordered salad, pizza, and beer. Pizza took 90 minutes to arrive, after being told multiple times it would be ready in a few minutes. It even took 1/2 hr to be told that the beer that I ordered wasn't available. Restaurant was less than 1/2 full (only 3 tables for most of the time), so I can't imagine how slow service would be when they are busy. Several locals arrived after we had ordered, and they all ordered, received their food, & finished eating before we received our pizza.

Absolutely superb - you must try this awesome spot! We have a family cottage in Bass River and we are in the area often, but due to COVID we haven’t tried this place since it became The Briny Bay. Came here for breakfast before a long hike and it was excellent. All four of us loved the food; fish cake Benny was particularly good! Lovely, airy, bright space and the staff were super friendly and helpful, with advice on our hike. Really good quality and pricing. Loved the food so much we came by for wood fired pizza and beer after our hike! It was equally delicious. Definitely recommend this spot, good enough to make a special trip for sure, and so important to support good quality local businesses like this at such a difficult time. We’ll be back lots!

Wish I stopped in earlier in my trip! Fried clams were the best I've had in the area during my long summer visit. Lightly fried, not heavy at all. Their tarter sauce was great, fries were perfectly done.Welcoming space with a lot of plants and natural light. Very friendly staff, would highly recommend their food!

Great find. We tried to go here for dinner on a Saturday night but it was so packed because of the musicians that we couldn't get in. That was our first hint that this was a popular place. And for good reason.We came back the next morning for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We were treated to a tour by the owners who showed us their bed and breakfast rooms they are renting. Seemed like a great place to stay and we might consider it next time we are in the area. We will have to be ok with a lively atmosphere though.Great owners who seem to really care about the community, and providing good service.
