Toronto Markham Soccer Club

It is a great league for men's recreational level soccer. They have summer outdoor soccer on Saturdays and Sundays and winter indoor soccer on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. Players in this league are usually friendly, most are there for the exercises (and go for a beer after) Unlike other leagues I have played in, this league enforces a no-ringer policy to make sure the results are fair. The league hires qualified referees only and they are not shy to hand out cards and suspensions to filter out the rough players. This league updates their websites regularly with the stats and standings compared to the other leagues I have played in. Overall, if you are an average Joe like myself, this is probably the right league for you, if you are Neymar Jr, why are you playing in a men's rec league anyway?! Keep rolling.

3.5 stars! I have been coming to this establishment since I was 18 years old. It has definitely developed into somewhat of a rec center. They added heaters which was a necessity and have constant sporting events during the year. It has good turf and nets. The only issue I have is with the washrooms and change rooms. The washrooms are somewhat unsanitary and always smells, but they can't necessarily be held responsible for others bowel movement smells lol , but it's quite bothersome. Other than the smell and unsanitary bathrooms, it is a good place.

We are an established Sports Club that has been around for a long time. After enjoying another league for many years, we decided to move to the Maple Leaf League. We have competed for the past eight years. The league has no games on long weekends, home fields, an indoor league, a flexible fee structure, good competition (Division A & Division B), and player recognition. The league’ s management has been easy to deal with, give advance notifications, have been approachable with any concerns, and have always dealt with us in a professional and courteous manner. We have built good rapport with several teams and enjoy some great rivalries. Keep up the good work in the community.
