New to Vancouver and wanted a commuter scooter to get around town. John at the Kits location was very helpful. Asked a lot of questions about how I was going to be using it, and recommended a Vsett8. Great machine. It does everything I need it to.Importantly, he did not try and up-sell me. I asked him about the Vsett8+ and he said my style and route did not require spending more for the dual motor. He was right!

Friendly and helpful staff. They answered all my questions, and communicated well via email.They also offered to set up a test ride if I wanted one.I ended up purchasing a VSETT 9+ from Urban Machina, and I love it. They had it unboxed, assembled, inspected, and ready for me when I arrived to pick it up.I highly recommend them.Thank you!*Edit 06/13/22*I have since purchased a second e-scooter (Evolv Pro R) from them, which I've been riding to/from work when it's sunny (Burnaby to North Vancouver, 44 km round trip).It's an addiction, and I wanted to level up the power/range!Again, service was great. No complaints here!

My experience here from my initial visit, to leaving a month later with a new scooter has been satisfactory. Having been an Apollo client in the past, i find that urban machina's customer service is more refined and efficient. I appreciated the transparency of my scooter's shipping progress. Whereas with Apollo, you could wait weeks and the promised deadlines were never met. I would buy from here again.

Nancy and the gang at Urban Machina are fantastic. When we were shopping around for an electric scooter, we wanted to be able to ride a few and talk to someone who could help us make a purchase. These are things you can’t do on Amazon. After trying 3 or 4, we were able to make an informed decision on the right size and power - we landed on the 500w EVOLV City plus. Thanks for the awesome service and patience Nancy! If you are looking for a scooter so you don’t have to sit on a bus during COVID times, check Urban Machina out. LONG TERM TEST UPDATE: We're now 750KM into our 500wEVOLV City Plus and are still very happy with the purchase. Lots of power and battery to get around the very steep hills of North Vancouver. The 12KM commute into downtown Vancouver over the Lions Gate Bridge takes about 30min and leaves me with 4 of 5 bars. E-scooter season is here...

After wasting my money on a cheap scooter, which literally broke down within a week and dumped another $260 trying to hire someone who can’t properly fix it because they don’t have the freaking parts!!!. I finally found a scooter company that is Awesome customer service and have the genuine parts to fix your scooter after normal wear and tear. So when my scooter needs servicing, I can just drop it off at their physical store and have it fixed properly! I definitely like the VSETT 9+ I have been using to scout locations for wedding photography. It definitely have lots of power as it has no problem going up a steep hill even when the rider is ~ 170 lbs. Conversely, my previous cheap scooter can’t even go up on a slight incline! Anyways the VSETT 9 + helped me save time and money especially when scouting for locations for photo shoot. I’m so glad that I was able find a scooter company that won’t inflict me more stress! Will purchase my wife’s replacement scooter from Urban Machina as well because of their good customer support and service :)

Great Customer Service!I can tell you from first hand experience that these people are really great to deal with. I am from the United States and it was still amazing. They answered all my questions and got back to me in a timely manner. Came through on what they said they were going to do.What more can you ask for?Just a great overall experience with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone.Thank you again for my new toy!

I bought the Evolv pro in early July. When i received it, unfortunately I got an E10 error message when i went to ride. I wasn't happy!! But I spoke with Urban Machina, and they took care of it, and didnt charge me anything, and it wasn't long, so overall i was happy, they stand by their products, and are knowledgeable and friendly. I would buy from them again for sure.

Around where I live there are zero e-scooter shops or e-scooter repair shops. The roads here are terrible and my EVOLV scooter frequently needs repairs. The folks at Urban Machina have been SO helpful getting me the parts I need. The staff on the phone is friendly and knowledgeable about not only the specs of their products but also the care and maintenance required for them. You can also pay for orders with Affirm (Paybright) so large orders are much kinder to your wallet! My only wish is that I lived closer to the store... or even in the same province.10/10 you should buy from them :)

I purchased a VSETT 10+R from them and their customer service and knowledgeability has been amazing. It makes you feel like your right at home. They let me test ride a VSETT 10+ prior to purchase for free and even mounted all my accessories on for me. Quality control is amazing. The build quality of the VSETT 10+ blew my mind away and omg this thing is fast as f—-. Sales associate Cynthia was extremely friendly and helpful in processing my orders and getting me started. If I don’t wreck, This will be my scooter for a long time.
