Samantha, Abby, Patricia, and the rest of the Carmichael team were professional, friendly and very conscious of your needs. Our bridal party had a wonderful experience. Hair and make up lasted all day and thru the evening of dancing. Thank you for the wonderful service❤️❤️

In preparation for my wedding next year I wanted to look into getting hair extensions. Working with the owner, Patricia, was amazing! She's extremely knowledgable and helped me choose the right type of extension for my fine, easily breakable hair. Would highly recommend this salon. Make sure you get extensions only through a licensed hairstylist like Patricia as it makes a massive difference in the quality and longevity of your hair.

I have been going to Carmichael's for 30 years. When I first moved to Newmarket, I tried a few salons but was disappointed with the results. I then found Carmichael's. Patricia is constantly upgrading her skills, and is an exert at colour, cuts, wigs and extensions to name a few of her talents. I have never been disappointed with her work and the salon as a whole. All the staff are friendly, honest and caring. They are like a family. The shop is charming and cozy. I highly recommend all the staff and services at Carmichael's Hair Design Group.

I came to Carmichael's because my hair is thinning am self conscious. Patricia took her time to explain all of the options, and was exceptionally knowledgeable. We tried different option until we found one that felt right. Both my hair and topper were coloured at the same time and you can't even tell. I left with new confidence, still feels like me only better. Thank you Patricia!

Hair extensions, cut and colourI am extremely happy with my experience at Carmichaels! I was looking for a salon closer to home for all my hair needs. Having read reviews I took a leap of faith with Patricia and she exceeded my expectations on all levels. My cut and colour is fabulous and my extensions are better than my previous salon that I had been going to for over 4+ years. Patricia takes extra time to ensure that your hair is kept healthy and makes amazing suggestions to create a beautiful look. Her staff are so friendly and welcoming you almost don't want to leave ! Thanks so much ! You have a new client forever!

I was recommended Carmichael Hair Design by a relative and decided to give it a try... And it was an amazing experience not only do they validate your feelings of anxiety (I am very picky of who I let do my hair) but they also take their time to make sure you really love the results! I have booked with Jade twice and will continue to come back. She is worth the drive from Scarborough ☺️ her attention to details and her patience with my hard to color hair (we did it tho!) she was able to create something fun and beautiful!! Amazing place better staff!

Carmichael Hair Design Group & Day Spa
I have been going to Carmichael's for 25 years and can think of no reason why I would go anywhere else. On our quaint downtown Main Street, the salon has a comfortable, homey feel, complete with Sophie's warm welcome and a cup of tea. My cut and colour are consistently well done by Patricia. And the spa treatments never disappoint to provide a respite or welcomed bit of pampering. Most of all, though, going to Carmichael's is like visiting family. They don't just know your name, they care about you. I highly recommend Carmichael's Hair Design Group.

I had my hair done by Patricia yesterday. She is very experienced and a truly professional. I am very pleased with my cut. She also styled my topper and it looks fantastic! I am definitively going back. Everyone there is nice and friendly. They make you feel very comfortable. I recommend 100%.

She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and on top off all the latest techniques and styles. The salon is clean, the staff are courteous and always make me feel like family. They have done a great job in implementing COVID-19 protocols!
