Glenmore Sailing Club

I can't emphasize enough how beautiful The Glenmore Sailing Club is as a wedding venue! I got to photograph a wedding here back in 2019 and can't wait for an opportunity to go back - their outdoor patio is one of the most beautiful (and unique) spaces I've seen in Calgary. It's surrounded by large trees (making it feel private despite being beside a public park) and you get a beautiful view of the reservoir. There's plenty of green space surrounding the venue for the kids to run around or for playing lawn games. I highly recommend taking some time as the sun is setting to duck down to the reservoir for some additional portraits. This is the perfect setting for those looking for a gorgeous outdoor space for their intimate wedding!

Great club, we really enjoyed our wedding day here and would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a smaller wedding venue! We didn’t feel like we were in Calgary and we had so many positive comments from friends and family.

We booked the Glenmore Sailing Club for our wedding in July 2021. Michelle, the club manager, was a dream to deal with. No matter what changes we required, what information I needed, she was very responsive and dependable. This location was wonderful, beautiful scenery, stunning rustic indoor space and ample green space surrounding it, made for the perfect wedding ceremony. Highly recommend!!

Love that we have a place to develop sailing skills right in the city. The keelboat lessons are A+

Just fantastic, as a Scouter I brought my Cubs here (OAS Sailing 1 & 2 available) and it was fantastic. Went back with friends for Women Wind and Wine and I can't say enough good things. Learning and laughs, it was just amazing!! Thanks to Sarah, our awesome Skipper

My boys had a really good experience taking their first sailing lessons here. The instructors were laid back and fun. The morning class time was perfect for avoiding rush hour traffic.Pro tip: pull all the way around the loop to drop your kids off in the loading zone directly in front of the building instead of parking in the boat spaces.

We used the clubhouse for a toddler birthday party and it was the perfect venue!I also sail with the club and highly recommend their education programs and Wednesday racing!

This place as really good camps for kids who want to sail in the summer. The coaches/teachers (idk what to call them) are approachable and friendly people who are also really good at what they do. It's kind of weird that it's also a wedding venue though. Anyways the camps are pretty fun, and its a good place to spend a few weeks of summer.

Rented a canoe for $20 for 1 hour. Daughter and I enjoyed a quiet paddle on the reservoir. Feels like you've left the city.
