Laid out nice, well organized but disappointing that you can't try stuff on due to no dressing rooms. They said yoiu can buy it and take it home to try on and if doesn't fit then you can bring back for exchange only. Might be fine for some, but not for me.....

I dropped off some donations at the collection area at the side of the building and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. I was given a coupon for my contribution. The drop area is around the side of the building, and is clearly marked.

I had never been in and thought I'd check it out. Found a nice sweatshirt for $12 but found a large stain. I asked of I could return if stain doesn't come out. Apparently not so careful for stained clothing.Good deals on baby clothing.

They need to bring back the change rooms. People with busy lives don't have time to grab random clothes and try them on at home and return or exchange what doesn't fit. This is supposed to be for low income people, which most are too busy earning their money to be running around returning stuff unnecessarily. COVID restrictions have been over for over 1 year now yet value village seems to not care. This review is for all value village locations.

Fun place to browse for bargains. Very well organized and maintained store.

It's dumb how there's no change rooms. So you have to buy something without knowing if it will fit. And if it doesn't fit they won't return it for money, only exchange. So if you look for something else and it's not equal value you can't get it. So most likely you'll have to find something thats a little more expensive. Then what if that doesn't fit? Rinse and repeat until you're able to find something that works for you that's way more than what you wanted to buy in the first place.Absolute scam.

I went in to do some second hand shopping for environmental reasons, as I am trying to avoid buying clothes brand new - I come to this location to find that there are NO change rooms. I am hoping to try on 7 pairs of jeans - I guess the only alternative would be to purchase them all and then try them at home and then not be able to even have a refund, as I believe everything is exchange only. What an absolute waste of time.Not only is everything already overpriced when it has been donated freely, now you can't even try on items and then have to waste time coming back to exchange, only to have to purchase more clothes you can only try on at home. Where is the logic? It's awful in my opinion. Zero stars really.I am headed to Talize, where there are thankfully change rooms.

Used to be good. Now they’re just overpriced, often priced beyond retail, and honestly people are so done with the bs of their pricing they don’t even revolt, protest or boycott the stores anymore….they just don’t go. Shame.

I had a problem using my status card, surprisingly the manager there, blond woman forget her name , was very professional, genuinely helpful and patient enough to fix the problem which took a long time and I thought that was really cool. The store itself is absolutely amazing I found the best s*** there! I live in Hamilton, but I'll travel to this location from now on.

Not sure who's cutting the prices but if you notice a Dollarama sticker for $4 when it would have been brand-new you might not want to hire than that at a thrift store. Ditto on the picture frames and smaller puzzles from Dollar Tree
