Seaside Hotel North Vancouver - An Executive Hotel

The overall experience has been good.The location is so convenient (close to the sea us terminal), and the neighbour hood is nice for a walk, coffee, etc.The room is spacious compared to hotels in downtown Vancouver. Finishing is modern and chic with AMPLE power outlets. Coffee machine in the room is nice with coffee from illy. Toiletries are from L’Occitane, and they smell good.Staff has been nice and friendly as well.There are some downsides though. The first is that the reception is so small and looks like it’s in an accessories shop. The elevator is accessible from outside by anyone (although you need to scan your room key to go to your floor). It was a bit noisy around 10 pm during my stay since my room was facing the shipyards.Besides, the blind is supposed to be blackout, but there is room between the window and the blind so sunshine can still come into the room from the edges. Last but not least, the sink faucet and shower is hard to use with no signs of which way for hot and which direction for cold water.Overall, it has been a pleasant stay at the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone else.

My husband and I stayed here for a night to celebrate our anniversary and it was beyond words. The ocean view suite is gorgeous, with tasteful decor and an incredible bathroom that makes you want to stay in the bath and admire the view forever. A perfect little gem for a weekend getaway in the city!Food was on the expensive side which is okay for the quality of the hotel. I personally wasn’t a fan of the flavours but I’m sure it was delicious for others!

The room was pretty clean and nice and the hotel had pretty decor. Comfy beds and pillows. There were a few hairs in the shower so I would suggest they have staff always double check that before checking guests in. The location was great. It lacked some features such as a lobby or seating areas but not a huge deal. There is a small restaurant attached and the staff was great. If you get Miles as a server I highly recommend her Cesar drinks, she makes them delicious! Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful including the restaurant, valet and James at the reception. We had an issue with our neighbors dog barking non stop and the staff immediately attended to it, allowing us peace and rest which we really appreciated.

Would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel. Located close to the seabus station which allows you to be in Vancouver downtown in around 20min from the hotel. Around the hotel there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars. North Vancouver has such an amazing vibe, felt so welcoming and relaxing.The hotel itself has very friendly staff and amazing rooms. Bathrooms are simply amazing, bedding as well. You won’t hear anything from outside. Only downside was the breakfast (which was included in our rate). I cannot recommend having a rate including breakfast. You will only get to choose from certain dishes and one drink. The first two mornings we were allowed to have a “real” coffee (espresso). Then suddenly on the third day suddenly only filter coffee was included? After quick discussion we then got our espresso. Overall the breakfast seemed unorganized. Better to not have it included in the room rate and choose what you like and pay separately for it (or go somewhere else, there are plenty of options). For the parking I recommend to NOT use the options provided from the hotel as they are quite expensive. I recommend using “Canwest parking” just up the street. You will safe 50% compared to the hotel prices. Still can warmly recommend this hotel for a stay in Vancouver!

Incredibly overpriced for what it is. You're paying executive prices for basic rooms. Staff seems confused by simple requests. I requested to book one room for 2 nights and another room for 1 night. This was very confusing to them. Gave my guests in the second room a hard time when checking in. The location is good, that's about it.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is lovely! The room was impeccable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable...I had great sleep both nights. You can't hear guests in neighbouring suites. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff knew my name and greeted me by name at every encounter...that's pretty amazing considering the hotel was fully booked! The location is good as well, with lots to do, places to eat just steps away. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a great experience at Seaside! All the staff were nice and welcoming, rooms were neat and clean, exactly like the pictures. Even the deluxe king room felt luxurious with the bathroom design and interior decor complete with motorized shades. We ordered the seaside benedict and breakfast hash, potatoes were very good. Would definitely recommend. We really loved the options for contactless check-in and check-out.

I had a great stay here! The room was excellent, I got the Jr. Suit. The bath was enormous and had bath salts ready to use, the shower was also large and quite nice. The room was modern and aesthetic but still felt homely. I enjoyed the complimentary coffees and teas included with my room, they were quite good and the added bottled water and milk in the mini fridge. My room was also exceptionally clean and smelled great, I have stayed in other 4 star hotels that weren't nearly as clean. The modern technology in the room was a nice touch, they had blinds that lower or open at the push of a button. Lots of lights for the room, and good noise insulation, I didn't hear a peep from anyone else while in my room. Overall great location, a drive away to downtown but not too close that you'd feel overwhelmed by the buissieness of the city. Easy to walk right to the shoreline. Great food options in the area and things to see and do.My only complaint would have to be the slight confusion with parking, it's not directly under the building, so you have to park beside it then walk across the street to the hotel lobby.

The seaside hotel is a great option for those looking for a luxurious experience in the Vancouver area without the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver. Less than a 5 minute walk from the Seabus, Art Galleries, gorgeous morning walks alongside the water facing downtown Vancouver, and a splash park right outside the hotel. Staff are welcoming and hospitable. I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the North Vancouver area.
