Valerie and I connected randomly in a pet store and it was the best meeting I could have wanted for a dog that I got that very week. She is a fantastic trainer, she actually cares about the dog and the person she is training (yes, she is training the person too...), she's knowledgeable, kind, punctual, efficient and results-driven. I could not have asked for a better experience. I initially hesitated, thinking that she was only a trainer for Shiba Inus but nope, she's trained the heck out of my beagle and me! If I could give her 10 stars, I would.

Straight forward and easy to follow dog training tips for my rescue pup Zara! She would become very protective of us when random pedestrians walk by (they mean no threat or harm) and randomly she would pull and bark. The techniques and prompts Val would teach me helped tame and calm Zara with authoritative command! Thanks SSH ACADEMY for your strategies and techniques!

Had a training session with Val for my puppy. She was so informative on basic obedience and is always available for questions that I have. We also had my dog board with Val for a few nights and I felt so relieved! It’s hard for me to trust people with my dog but I felt comfortable knowing Val treats her like her own dogs :) definitely recommend them for training and boarding 10/10 for both services

SSH Canine Academy has changed my and my dogs lives for the better!! After only 2 sessions my 4 month old puppies have now made a new best friend (Valerie) in addition to learning how to sit, down, focus and starting to “leave it”. Valerie had no issues to come and work with my entire family plus both puppies at once to give us amazing advice, tricks and tips to get them on track to be well behaved. Having two small dogs is no joke and I wasn’t sure we would make it but with the help of SSH Canine Academy we are feeling prepared and confident to train these pups and give them the best life they deserve! Thanks so much Val!!

I've had some sessions Valerie and she is amazing. We've seen Val since the first few weeks I got my puppy and she loves her. Valerie will take the time to teach your dog but more importantly teach you how to train your dog. Valerie is also always available for when I have questions on what to do. We will continue to be seeing Valerie for many more sessions to come.

Valerie is a very knowledgeable canine trainer. We saw an incredible difference in our yappy nervous chihuahua from just the first training session! We love how Val's way of training where she has an encouraging and positive approach. We are planning to book more sessions with her next month!

I’ve had a few sessions with Valerie already and she is amazing! I have nothing but positive things to say. She has a wealth of knowledge, and provides so much information, tips/tricks to you to help you. She honestly has you and your dogs best interest in mind and always does her best to help. My first session was to help my new puppy with biting and simple commands like leave it. It went well, and putting her tips and suggestions to work it helped tremendously. We continue to work with her as Mushu grows. Anyone needing a trainer, I highly recommend Val.
