Pawsh Dog Spa and Boutique

This was my first grooming experience as a puppy owner and this place is close to my home with good reviews so I decided to go for it.When we discussed a grooming plan, I was told that they usually don't do a haircut at the first appointment, but then I noticed that he has matted hair on his legs. So we decided that they would shave his legs and do the haircut to match the legs.When I picked him up, he was completely shaved because when they found out that his face was also matted, they decided to make him bald.All this happened without informing me over the phone and suggesting some alternatives.So, if you don't want to be surprised like I was, I suggest you look elsewhere, as I plan to do.

I would recommend not going here.During our previous visit we had requested our dog Toki to not have his hair cut too short. This is due to a health issue as he was a rescue and malnourished. You could feel and see his spine/ribs, the additional fur was to keep him warm. When he was picked up he had clearly been completely shaved. We complained and was offered a complimentary return visit. Fair enough....We just utilized our return visit today and picked up Toki an hour ago.His nerves in his nails are exposed!! He wont even walk more then a few steps before trying to tend to it by licking. I wish I had checked reviews as someone has experienced this exact same issued only 6 days ago and included photos. I have included my photos as well, I can only imagine how painful this experience would be. If you love your pet you will not drop them off here.

My dog looks amazing. Very clean. Very good at asking questions to get the correct cut. Prices reasonable. Staff genuinely love dogs. See you next month.

I have been going here for three years now, no other spot in Vancouver has been able to compare! Even though I don't live in the neighbourhood and haven't for years, I continue to come back and that won't stop any time soon!My only complaint is that I wish there was an easier way to book and manage appointments, as there's not always someone to answer a call when trying to book an appointment.

Had a great first experience at Pawsh today! They took the time to write down our asks and Roberto delivered precisely on the trim style we asked for. Most importantly Ozzie looked really happy afterwards and was running around asking for love from the woman working the front end. Nothing felt rushed. The price was comparable to other places despite all the extra attention. Will be back soon!

Went hear to see about a drop in , my dog needed his nail clipped and they offer walk-ins until 4:30 .I actually walked in with a couple of minutes to spare and was flat out refused, the attendant working was very rude, quite unprofessional, it would have literally took a minute of her time for my small dog..All in all the interaction was unpleasant, I will never return to this business..

After a horrible experience at another groomer, a neighbour recommended Pawsh to us, and we have never looked back! We have been taking our dogs here for years and they always come back happy and smelling great. The cute little kerchiefs they tie on them is just bonus cuteness!!!Super friendly staff!11/10 would recommend!
