Unfortunately, despite trying this when I was starving, I was very disappointed.The chicken was bland and dry. Their piri piri sauce wasn't very good either, so it didn't help it at all. The rice was also blanks. BUT the potatoes were AMAZING (I'm a potato lover). Sadly, I can't come back just for potatoes only.

I used to love this place, in fact a regular customer from a few years ago. I worked in the great white North for more than 2 years and I went straight to Gallo the following morning after getting home, but alas, this skinny dude was so rude to his customers, particularly the customer before me. Holy smoking -82 degrees, foxes and polar bears...I'm boycotting this place! I am also spreading the word to my peers.Dang!

i frequently go to Gallos for dinner. I was very disappointed this time as I ordered a half chicken dinner yesterday. I brought the left overs for lunch today and there was a hair in my food. The hair was dark and my hair is blonde so there’s no way it was mine. The ladies working there both had dark hair so it makes sense it was one of theirs. I am so disgusted I don’t think I could ever go back there.

Very rude stuff. This place charged my visa extra. Be careful and check the receipt.

Ordered food for 35-40 people, staff stayed passed closing time to accommodate my pickup time. Under $500 to feed 40 people with left overs!Friends and family were saying how amazing the food was.

The service is great. I am always served fast and the staff are very nice. $7 is an excellent price point for a quarter chicken and 2 sides. The portions are great. Between the fact that the chicken is very dry without bbq sauce and that the price increased from $5 to $7 rather unexpectedly, I rank the experience at a 4 star rather than a 5.

This is by far my favourite Portuguese restaurants in York region. The food here is so delicious, my family tries to order this for each holiday or occasion we have. They have so much to order.This place kind of has a mom and pop shop feel where it’s so cozy and familiar. The staff are so nice when you come in and don’t rush you when you’re trying to order.I like how you can see the food in front of you, instead of being hidden in some back room.My favourite is the potatoes. They’re always roasted and seasoned to perfection that I eat them with other meals. Chicken is not my favourite meat, but I like how theirs is so juicy and tender it is. Definitely something easy to order if you decide to eat here. And they give such great portions for their rice ! I really like how light it is, and goes really well with their potatoes and chicken.I’m not sure if he’s the manager or owner, but the guy working there is genuinely so nice. From the moment you place an order over the phone to when you pick up the food, he is just so nice.

Gallo Churrasqueira are theifs. They charged my visa $5 extra and when I asked for a recipe from the cash register aperantly they claim they didn't know how to use it cuz they barely use it so they don't pay taxes to the government. But when I asked why am being charged $5 extra they claimed it was for the fork. They steel your money right in front of your face and they get effened when you ask why they take extra money without explaining. If anyone going there ask for the recipe from the cash register to make sure they charge your visa only what you bought.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Myself and my family have ordered from here multiple times and we have never been disappointed. The food is always incredibly fresh and the service is superb. The employees are always friendly and they always put their customers first. I want to give a huge thank you to Loris for always putting his all into what he does. This man is incredible with his customers and treats them as if he's known them forever. He does not treat you like you are just some other customer but rather with so much respect and love. I would mention all the other employees but I do not know their names however they do not go unnoticed. All of the employees work hard and want to ensure the satisfaction of their customers.
