Basic Goodness Pizzeria
As a Neapolitan, I can confidently say this is the real deal. Pizze are authentic: the taste of ingredients used and the dough are great - If I closed my eyes I could easily be in Naples! This is the authentic pizza and if you are after it, this is the place where to go. If you are a lover of American pizza and similar....probably not your best option. Service was great and the owner was super kind and great to chat to. Will go back when we visit Vancouver island again!

One of the best wood fired pizzas I have had - they have clearly mastered how to prepare the dough. Very fresh pizza sauce and great array of toppings.

Phenomenal pizza! Like, I am in Italy, pizza. And the owner or chef was an Italian model who is actually in the photo when you first walk in.. so I hear from a local ;). A humble opinion from a wandering pizza lover

Basically, Goodness doesn't do this place justice. Authentic, Neopolitan pizzeria with a truly passionate ownership power couple. Marco slanging dough and Heather lighting up the room. It honestly doesn't get any better folks. A small, locally run business with hands on owners who put EVERYTHING they have into their business. They use top-quality ingredients, and Marco's uncompromising attention to detail shines through every hand rolled 00 dough! Don't miss this absolute gem! Best pizza in Tofino for sure, maybe the whole damn island!

Lovely place, friendly staff…but pizza was alright. The dough was very good but the pizza we had was quite soupy. The sauce is very bland, didn’t seem like there was any seasoning in it. Probably would eat the pizza here again but would try another dish.

Best pizza in Tofino. And the owner Marco (Italian born and raised) makes the experience even better. Everything is homemade. Italian wine and my first Negroni, was lovely. His staff is just as fun and accommodating. If your in the area stop by, we’ll worth it.

The pizzas are large enough to share between two people for lunch. The crust was burnt, but the inside was soggy. Chanrged for olives when we wanted to substitute it for removing the bacon on the Hawaiian pizza. 2 pizzas came to $60.00 without drinks.

Top notch wood fired pizza, authentic and flavourful! You can tell the owner really cares and puts a lot of time into the pizza! The dough is wonderful and fluffy inside. Check it out for thin crust Neapolitan style pizza!

Yummy!!!You may be fooled by the exterior of this unassuming pizzeria. There is nothing pretentious about this place, thank goodness! It is warm, inviting, and absolutely delicious!!Will you wait a bit? Highly likely, but the best things come to those that wait!!I found I probably could have easily shared one pizza with my daughter, they are a good size!I can't wait to return, thank you for the delicious evening!

The pizza was the size of a normal medium and light on toppings. The crust was nice and chewy and it was the best part of the pizza. The pizza toppings were okay, but the cheese was very thin in consistency, so I would give it 4-stars. The middle of our pizza was soggy and stuck to the box, so I took a star off for that. I also took off a star for their new takeout service charge. The pizza seemed expensive when we picked it up, but we knew they added 5% for the local First Nations which was neat to see and the there were taxes, so we paid and left. As we drove back to our room we looked closer at the receipt and saw a service charge mentioned. We called to find out what this was and the person on the phone instantly became defensive and said it was a new 15% service charge they added for all takeout orders and if we didn’t like it we could come back and get a refund. I asked about refunding it over the phone since they use a POS system, but that wasn’t an option. Ultimately this was a disappointing food experience we were looking forward to on our last night in Tofino.
