Tiny Hoppers - Barrie , Big Bay Point

Our daughter has been attending Tiny Hoppers Big Bay Point for 2 years and I can't say enough wonderful things about this daycare centre. Our daughter is ALWAYS excited to go to school in the morning, will often run into the classroom without even saying goodbye and will tell us not to pick her up too early (so she doesn’t miss any fun activities!). There is so much thought and creativity that goes into the activities, crafts and ‘special days’, they really make it fun for them to come to school every day. My daughter has created such special bonds with so many of her classmates, like a true preschool experience, and we know this is a direct result of the caring, safe, loving environment that has been created for her and her classmates by her teachers. Her teachers will welcome us to come into her classroom to share drawings or activities that the kids have been working on, which activities they will do that week and always includes us in her day. The directors of the centre always have their door open for any questions or concerns you have, and are so friendly and helpful with whatever you need. My daughter will be moving on to kindergarten this year, and we are sad we will be leaving our Tiny Hoppers family. We feel they have given her everything and more of what we could have hoped for in a childcare centre and have done an incredible job preparing her for school. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tiny Hoppers to anyone looking for a safe, loving and fun environment for their child.

The security this home away from home provides too me as a first time parent brings so much ease. My little girl is fluroshing everyday. Of course I give her [my little girl all the credit] however, I need to also thank the mentors that my little strange looks up to at Tiny Hoppers. We never stop learning and Tiny Hoppers has helped me not only trust but allow room to grow. Thankyou Tiny Hoppers staff for being so patient with my kid and with me. ♡

Choosing a daycare for our (at the time) 18 month old during a pandemic when we can’t tour the facility or meet the people caring for our daughter face to face was very difficult. However, since day one, Tiny Hoppers has made us feel like family. Our daughter is now 2+ years old and my husband and I couldn’t be happier with the care she has received at Tiny Hoppers. Her teachers in Toddler One and Toddler Two have been great. Amazing communication. Also, Tiny Hoppers has an amazing director. She is very responsive to emails and any concerns that arise. We ALWAYS feel like family. As a paramedic and a nurse we understand the public health limitations and feel Tiny Hoppers has done an amazing job at keeping our daughter safe, happy and healthy. We would both HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tiny Hoppers to anyone looking for day care for their child. Covid is difficult. Tiny Hoppers has done an AMAZING job. 5 stars to everyone.

We absolutely love Tiny Hoppers and what they do for our 3-year old son! He loves going to daycare, asks if he can also go on the weekends! His teachers are amazing, not only do they show love and care for our son, but they are constantly looking for creative ways to make kids learn. We are beyond excited how much our son has learned over the past year, especially in a social aspect and being able to show appreciation towards others! Special thanks to the Director of Tiny Hoppers - Vittoria who always takes an extra step to ensure you have your questions and concerns addressed and resolved. After having tough time finding daycare, we really found a great place for our Daughter.We recently moved to Barrie and we had a tough time with previous day care(LakeLand Daycare) pathetic daycare ever came across.Tiny Hoppers made me realise Barrie is a good place to live with this Daycare, all teachers are very polite and sweet, specially I met with Jas yesterday. Oh my God the way she was caring my baby I just loved her.Thankyou so much Tiny Hoppers for keeping such a good staff and good care for kids..

We absolutely love Tiny Hoppers - Big bay point! Our daughter started in the Infant program when she was 15 months old and is now 2.5 years and absolutely loves it! She has always enjoyed going to daycare and her transition from the infant room to toddler room and now preschool has been absolutely seamless. We have seen the centre grow and make so many positive changes. The teachers are very loving and caring and you can rest assured that your little ones will be looked after! Julie, the director of the centre is wonderful and always ensures that we are always updated regarding any changes and additions. The staff has been extremely helpful especially during the pandemic. We absolutely recommend this centre to all the parents!

My husband and I are first time parents...needless to say we were very anxious about having to start our son in daycare especially at 10months old. Bring on the mom guilt of having to go back to work. We tried a few home daycares both private and registered however unfortunately neither were a good fit for our son and didn't fully meet his needs. We thankfully came across Tiny Hoppers and thought we'd give a centre a try. Third time was a charm! An infant room with 3 teachers was just what he needed to have a successful transition. All the teachers are so friendly, we felt so welcomed, everyone knows my son's name, he leaves there so happy and hugging his teachers bye, it's clean, well structured, I receive adequate updates/activity logs about his day through an app (what and how much he's eaten, diaper changes, naps, photos). I can't thank all the staff at Tiny Hoppers enough for loving my son and being a big part of his developmental growth!

I highly recommend tiny hoppers! My son was in the infant, toddler and preschool rooms. They were very flexible in meeting his needs and I felt they really cared about him. Both supervisors were great and quickly responded to emails and phone calls. I loved the private Facebook group where I saw updates during the week. They have also been involved in the community with toy drives and hat/mitt collection. They are a great team!

We had such an amazing experience with Tiny Hoppers. It was our first time leaving our daughter with someone else and they made it so easy and comfortable. Our daughter always looked forward to seeing her friends and teachers and they always ensured she got to help out as that’s what she loves to do. The inclusion at Tiny Hoppers is next level and I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

I hate to do this however I feel like it needs to be done. An updated health inspection also needs to be done here. MOULD IN HER DRINKING CUPMy child started full time Tiny Hoppers in June since then we have had multiple issues arise. On her first day she came home with a sticker in her mouth, extreme choking hazard (she was 11 months) I understand children put things in their mouths however I couldn't believe no one saw it. I decided to keep sending her because I figured it must have just been a slip.On multiple occasions my child was sent home with a FULL diaper (BM) often, when you were allowed in the centre to pick them up, the room smelt as if the children were not change.I had a teacher lie on her daily tracking report - I was recently informed that teacher has since been fired. When outside - they did not put gloves on my child, I told them multiple times to put gloves on her since its winter - still seeing pictures of her outside with no gloves.My child has been sick basically since she started at Tiny Hoppers - She had a VERY bad cough, she saw 2 asthma specialist, went to the ER 3 times and has seen her doctor a handful of times also which lead us to not send her to the centre - she has missed A LOT of days and we missed A LOT of work.Recently we made the decision to remove her from Tiny Hoppers as she has been so sick - When we picked up her belongings her drinking cup is as seen in the images below (MOULD, this is supposed to be clear!) this is actual photos of my child's daily drinking cup that they sent home - she was drinking from a mouldy cup - no wonder she's been sickSince my child has been home, she has not coughed or been sick - I believe all of her sicknesses have stemmed from this mould. I couldn't believe my eyes the poor children. This is so sad, disgusting, and completely wrong. Its scares me, what else happened over there :(
