After trying multiple places for a wax I can safely say Sublime studio is hands down the best place there is for waxing in GVA and GTA! The quality of the wax and technique is great. You can tell she’s highly skilled at what she does.

Rav is the best waxer in the city!! She’s so fast and take the time to get to know her clients. She’s has such a positive attitude and energy. 10/10 would recommend her services!

Been going to Rav since 2021. My first experience with waxing and I was really anxious going into it, but she made me feel super comfortable from the start. She’s professional and always willing to answer any questions you have. Honestly have never even considered looking into going to someone else because of how great Rav is!

Have gotten waxed numerous times now after going to Rav as a first time waxer, each experience was top-notch. Rav is such a lovely person in general and excels as an esthetician. The space is always clean and done quickly while at a professional standard. Rav always answered my questions and made me feel less anxious about everything. Also complimenting me throughout the service is always a nice confident booster. Would be going to her for the future if wasn’t moving out of province :( she’s the best!

As a person who has never waxed before, this small but skilled establishment really gave me a good experience!The studio is probably 2 or 3 rooms within a larger store, which is a little bit hard to realize if you've never been before. But I think it adds to the privacy and discretion, if that matters. I think most onlookers probably thought I was going in for a haircut.What they say about brazillian waxing is 100% true, the pain is worse in your head than it actually is unless it's the top area which is just slightly better than in your head. The hit to wallets is also less impactful than other places I've researched.Thank you for a wonderful experience, the 4.9 stars with MANY reviews for a lovely hole in the wall that is what I assume to be locally owned do not lie. I also received some skin advice in the area I was serviced in, just stuff the beautician noticed while ripping hair out, which really helped me feel empowered and hopeful in tackling these insecurities. Another thing I loved was that while giving these tips, the beautician did not peddle specific products she had on hand to me, but just that I should look into products with ingredients she felt would be helpful in my own time, meaning I could have more time to make informed decisions.

Rav is absolutely the best wax technician I have ever encountered! The location is easy to get to by car or transit and parking has been readily available any time I've gone. The salon is comfortable and inviting and best of all the prices are some of the best in the lower mainland. I, being a bi-gendered person, was nervous to even ask about having certain areas waxed but Rav is very easy to talk to and was very upfront about what procedures I was able to have done. Happy to say I can live a hair free life for minimal cost with great service and results. Would give 10 stars if I could :)

Terribly tiny room with no ventilation or cooling. I felt claustrophobic along with sweating from hot wax. There was no fan as well. The cost does not justify treating customers like cage rats. Won't recommend it to anyone.To owner's response: I commend the aesthetician's dedication and good work, not the owner's. Yes the lack of AC or fan was communicated after the service was started, not when I entered the building, otherwise I would have left. Although I appreciate your apology, looking at your response, it's clear who the actual karen is - someone with poor customer satisfaction skills. And yes, many good places in vancouver to go to, so this review was left for the benefit of other people wanting to use this salon's services. Good luck with your future endeavours!

This was my first waxing experience and I’m so pleased! It went so smoothly (pun intended) Rav made me feel so comfortable and she’s very skillful! The only downside is that, I am probably gonna be doing this forever! :)

Rav is funny, kind, and super talented! She has a gift for making Brazilian wax experiences (especially if it’s your first) efficient, virtually painless, and honestly as enjoyable as a wax can be? Rav made my first experience at Sublime the best! She truly cares!
