Gas Plus

I called this company to come and give an estimate for a new heating system for my house. We scheduled a date and time. On the day no one showed up, no one even called to say they were not coming or to try to reschedule. When I called to see if anyone was even coming or if they we’re running late the response I got was “we are busy”. Not very professional at all. Needless to say I did not reschedule. I found a better company who did a fantastic job.

I always call Gas plus for a quote about any of our projects. Amy is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely call her again in the future. I highly recommend GAS PLUS to anyone.

Have had lots of work done over the years by Ryan and his Gas Plus team. A+ company. Give them a call you won't be sorry.

Very happy with the service from Gas Plus. We requested a quote for some heating for our shop and they came from Owen Sound to Chesley to take a look at what we would need. We received the quote in a timely manner after the visit. We look forward to working with them in the future!

Gas Plus supplied electrical & heating to our new build. They did a fantastic job. Very professional. We have had them do maintenance and they came when they said they would. Everything was carefully gone over . They always do a great job of cleaning up. Would definitely recommend Gas Plus .

We purchased a Kohler natural gas generator for power interruptions; Cam and Connor arrived on time and completed the installation -- even dismantling AND reassembling our deck to make sure the electrics and gas lines were properly situated and hidden from view (see photo). At the end of the install, Cam and Connor took me through a rehearsal of a power outage to show how the system worked -- and sounded. Warranty work can be a hassle but Cam completed the paperwork for us. No raucous music during the install, only polite interactions, and a professional clean-up. With climate change producing more severe, weather-related power outages, our family feels better protected. Thanks Gas Plus!

i smelled gas outside when the furnace went on. i had a heating protection plan with enercare and they contracted gas plus to come out to investigate. ( in retrospect if at any time you smell gas you should call the gas provider in my case it would have been union gas,) but i did notso gas plus came looked at my furnace saw some rust on the outside of the burners and immediately shut my furnace off and said i needed a new furnace because the heat exchanger was rusted inside the furnace and it was unsafe.he never did tell me what caused the gas smell outside. which was why he was sent . then he left. did not offer any heaters , and this was in March , so it was cold. i am a senior citizen and he left me with no heat and no proof the heat exchanger was unsafe.i was furious and the manager of gas plus came , he refused to turn my furnace back on.and brought no heaters and no estimate for a new furnace.when i had the furnace replaced by another company we examined the old furnace and the heat exchanger was in pristine condition!!!!!!. so i had to pay almost $5000 for a new furnace that was perfectly fine .Due to the incompetence of the technician , his manager and enercare who refused to override the gas technicians decision to lock out my furnace. i had no heat.it was an awful situation and subsequent attempts to get both companies to reimburse me for their mistake has resulted in no resolution .i guess i will have to go to small claims court.my lawyer told me these scams were very common especially if they thought i was dumb. Gas plus had a scam going on so they could sell me a new furnace but i wasn't falling for their nonsense, i was smart and they ran away so fast from my house leaving me with no heat. how mean and corrupt.

We had central a/c installed, which posed some problems because our old farm house didn't have ducting upstairs. They figured out a way to get the ducting run without having to rip out ceilings and floors and we couldn't be happier. Absolutely top notch service from start to finish. Loving the a/c in this heat-wave!

Their main focus is on installing a new system and to that end they will try to find faults with your current appliance and make the repair too expensive so you opt for even more cost to you and get a new system. In my case, I was told the cost of diagnosis/repair/parts for my fireplace would be $2,857.77 with no guarantee on a completion date due to lack of spare parts". I managed to get the spare parts in two days and got an honest professional to do the repairs for a total cost of $819.21. I would not recommend this company
