Personal Best Martial Arts

An amazing place for students to learn! We’ve been with Personal Best for a year and have always had great experience with all the instructors. Recently Sensei Allan has shown exceptional dedication when teaching the classes. His gentle, inclusive and fun approach to classes allows each student to build their skills with confidence. We have also done a private lesson with him and he takes the time to ensure my son was able to work on areas he needed to move up to the next belt!

love the place, the value they delivered to the kids, appreciation to parents, and self defense. My kid is very motivated to go to classes every week and wants to get higher strips and belts. Also the proD day camp is super fun according to him.

All the instructors are awesome, my kids love to come here everytime, they enjoy the lessons and also the games here, I can see they are more confident. I really love to have them study here

My 8-yr-old daughter and 5-yr-old son started going to the afterschool program at Personal Best 2 months ago, and they absolutely love this place and the friendly staff. They get to learn new martial arts tricks and practice their focus & listening skills in a fun-filled environment. They have dedicated homework time everyday and lots of games to play. They were treated with a trip to the Momentum Ninja Training Centre and went on field trips to nearby parks when the weather was nice. When my daughter was sad for having to miss martial arts due to a cold, or when my son dashes towards the van that picks them up after school, I knew Personal Best was the right choice.

Amazing! I got my black belt at this academy and it is awesome! They helped me all the way and it helped me stay fit during the coronavirus with their online classes! 5 stars!

My son can be very shy when he starts a new program. The teachers here are so fantastic with helping him come out of his shell and getting him involved in the class. They're patient, cheerful, and all around great with kids. If you have a shy kid and you want them to build some confidence, I highly recommend Personal Best!

This is exactly what we were looking for, for our young son. The owners are so enthusiastic and always have a lot of fun with the kids; they make it look easy keeping a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds engaged and listening for the whole class. My son is so proud of what he's learned; it's his favourite class by far, and it's fun for me to watch!

Great place with amazing instructors - my son absolutely loves it here and every week eagerly looks forward to his Tuesday martial arts class. I did his 4th bday here last year and they went above and beyond to make his party and his birthday experience the most memorable one so far. Sensei Galen and Sensei Conor treat the kids with such love and respect, while also goofing around to ensure they’re enjoying themselves. Valerie and Kim are superb as well, in everything they do really! Lastly, Master D is a real inspiration to all our kids as well as us as adults, as a business owner, as a Sensei as well as a parent!

All of the instructors are so friendly, knowledgeable and patient.My son always looks forward to his classes.Discipline and kindness all in one session and it’s such fun to watch your kid perform the techniques that will mold him into a strong human in the future.Highly recommend personal best!
