Orbit Stairs and Railings

Drago at Orbit Railings is amazing. His work is second to none. He is very easy to deal with and very reasonable. He gave us a date and was there promptly at 745 am. I highly recommend him for any job, big or small.

We had a new stair case and railing installed, Drago came out to give a quote. His price seemed very cheap and we now no why!!The entire railing and star case was a complete DISASTER, twisted hand rail, broken spindles, HUGE gaps in the oak. He used his saw inside our home so all the dust was covering our entire house afterwards. He damaged the hardwood flooring because he stepped all over his tools while working, glue was the joints was found all over our walls.After these issues I contacted him and he told us that this isn’t his problem and he would put a lean on our home if we didn’t pay.STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!He sent me a threatening email saying he will sue me for writing this review

What a great job from beginning to end!!! We called Orbit after a botched job with another company. When we went out to the shop to choose our railings Drago was friendly and knowledgeable. He then came to our place and looked at what needed to be done (and undone from the previous job) and gave us a quote, which was very reasonable. He gave us an approximate date that he would be able to do the job and how long it would take. He followed up with a call to confirm the date and started exactly when he said he would, even though it was during inclement weather when many businesses & schools were closed. Drago & his wife are always smiling, pleasant, upbeat and professional! What a great team. Need I say more??

Have we got wood stairs.... 55 oak steps (4 seperate stair-ways), 300 oak spindles, all clear varnished - they were in desperate need of modernization. We asked Drago from Orbit Stairs to come evaluate our stairs. From moment one, we knew we had found the right craftsman. He immediately presented ideas, solutions and suggestions. We visited his shop to review new spindle choices and see firsthand some of his work on large newals. Drago and his wife started the project on time and began the transformation. Sanded the stairs, removed the old spindles (replaced with black iron ones), sanded the risers, reworked some railings to flow better. Replaced pieces, added stringer. Each night the area (our home) was clean and vacuumed. When Drago and his wife had completed their work, we simply had to stain.The stairs look fantastic. The ideas and suggestions presented help to improve the flow and look. Our stairs have 'stepped' into the 21st century. We could not be happrier with Drago, his craftmanship, and his excellent work on our home.

We hired Drago from Orbit Stairs to work on two stair cases. Our stairs look magnificent now. He also fixed the botch job that existed from the builder. His timing was perfect, work was very clean and efficient, and we are very pleased with the final product!

Can't say enough good things about the quality and workmanship of Orbit Railings.They worked with us and our ideas to complete the most beautiful staircase we could ever imagine. They were on time with dates for install and completion and we could not believe how efficient and quickly we had our stairs installed. If you are looking for an amazing team to install your new beautiful stairs I would highly recommend Orbit Railings.

Recently had stairs capped and new railing installed by orbit stairs. The stairs were nice to look at however the job was not complete and the finishes looked horrible ...this was left for what Drago explained was the painters job". Huge holes and gaps were left by each stringer and when asked him to fill them and have the stairs prepped for staining he continued to explain that it was the painters job...he was frustrated at our persistance to have him come and finish the job after we had already given him full payment. He said he was sorry he took the job and that we were wasting his time.DRAGO was the most unprofessional contractor I have ever had in my house and in fact I am very sorry that I had hired him for the job as I now have to have someone come and complete the job I had already paid someone to do."

This was the absolute worst contractor I had ever encountered. I felt sick once the job was done knowing I let this company into my home and paid money for something that looked like a child had completed. Stay far far away. We were getting full oak stairs with new handrail and wrought iron spindles. The stairs were squeaky, none of the cuts were straight, spindles weren’t straight, hand rail was crooked, house was a complete disaster as they put their saw in my foyer instead of on the porch at least..........I have been asked to edit my review from Orbit Stairs as it is not fact based" and they may come after me for loss of income. This was my experience as a paying customer and this is my honest review."
