Generous benefits provided, great resourceful app and the BEST customer service professional I have ever dealt with when seeking information and support from any service provider - I have had the great fortune of having RUBY answer my calls twice now, she is immensely patient, very knowledgeable, thorough and understanding with a calming phone etiquette. Group Source is incredibly lucky to have her and should recognize her great work!

This company specializes in denying claims over and over again to the point where you just give up and pay out of pocket so you don't have to waste hours of your life on the phone fighting with them to get paid. The worst I have ever had.

Easily the worst benefits provider I've ever encountered. They work actively to deny as many claims as possible. You have to get so many forms and fill everything out just perfectly, and even when you do they'll find some loophole to deny you. Have fun!

Terrible insurance company. I had a baby in July of 2022 and it is now December 2022 and I still have not received payment. First we were told they need comparables or a price list of what OTHER rooms cost in the hospital. It’s irrelevant to my claim but I called the hospital and they promptly provided it. I submitted it and then I was told to show proof that I paid the bill. I provided proof of payment from the hospital. Then they said they would pay but they sent the check to the hospital instead of to me. I followed up with the hospital a month later and no check was received. Now I have to call them AGAIN and ask for the check to be cancelled because the hospital never received it and to reissue it to me since I’ve already paid the hospital bill. Dealing with a newborn is already challenging and this insurance company has made things exponentially more difficult. I would never suggest using them.

This company specializes in declining your claim and giving you a run around even the claims are valid . Their “automated” system is trained to underpay and then when you submit again, claim will be declined as duplicate. I have spent countless hours re-submitting and re-evaluation of claims. Please stay away unless you want to frustrate yourself

If I could give them less than one star I would. Terrible process for submitting claims. Disorganized and poor customer service. Not to mention an archaic system, they insisted that I fax a pre determination in and after much push back they reluctantly agreed I could scan and email the copy instead (only after I told them at least 5 times I do not have a fax machine). Still haven't heard back. When I called asking for an update, the person suggested I send a copy in the mail in case they didn't get my email.

GroupSource is the service provider my employer uses to administer our Health Spending account. If you are looking for a Health Spending account administrator, I strongly recommend you don't use GroupSource no matter how much cheaper they may be relative to competitors. I have spent countless hours trying to sort out problems with rejected claims, half paid claims, and incorrectly processed claims. The GroupSource staff are unable to resolve issues quickly or efficiently. When a claim is rejected, the very brief explanation given on-line is often incorrect and not helpful. If you submit a receipt and money is not yet in your health spending account, instead of processing the claim and waiting to pay it out when the next health spending account deposit is made, they reject it. When you try and resubmit the claim when money is available, they reject it as being duplicate. If you have two receipts with the same date, one claim is rejected as duplicate. Every time a claim is rejected, it necessitates a call to the GroupSource help line, which is a time consuming and unrewarding process. The amount of time that your employees will waste on the GroupSource helpline or writing emails to GroupSource sevice agents will more than consume any savings you think you might be achieving by choosing GroupSource as a low cost Health Spending account provider. Do not use them!

Honestly they have some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, especially being an insurance company. Every single claim I submit that isn't direct billed gets denied at least once before I can get approved. One they tell me and approve submissions with an invoice, but then the next they deny it saying they need a receipt. Then when I submit a receipt they deny that and say they need an invoice. The turn around time for their email responses is long and there is no good communication from them about what they require for submissions, they're explanations for denying claims are super vague and make no sense. They approve one thing for one employee and deny it for another. They're a super frustrating company to have to deal with. If you can, avoid, I would rather pay more for better quality customer service.

This company is brutal about paying out eligible claims..they decline many submissions until you spend the time to chase down the funds and they end up paying. Would not recommend if you're looking for a reliable group insurance policy.
