Good home-style food at a reasonable price. Been coming here going on 38 years :-) it's part of Wallaceburg's history

Food was OK but service not as good, i ordered breakfast special asked for home fries to be well done on grill and scrambled eggs with cheese. When waitress brought my plate someone else's plate was sitting on top so cheese and potato from my plate stuck to bottom. And cheese was on my potatoes not eggs and only had a very small amount of soggy nit well do w home fries. When I got receipt my I was charged 1.95 for a sprinkle of cheese and when i confronted waitress she got really snappy and snatched receipt out of hand and gave me a bad look. This resulted in no tip for her. Other waitresses were asking if we needed more coffee and very pleasant. But one bad experience ruins it for me will not go back there.

The food was great, however the server we had was not very pleasant. When she brought the food the cheese was stuck to the plate and when told she said she could change it but we didn't want to waste food. When she brought the bills we asked for the cheese to be taken off, she rudely said I told you I could take it back. Then she walked away she said I will go see. She came back and slapped the bill down and walked away. I worked the hospitality service for over 20 years and would never treat my customers in that manner. The server that paid us out was very nice.

Great food, friendly service with a large menu selection. I would definitely recommend eating here! Love the rice pudding, not something you see at other places. Food is always fresh
