Urban Oasis Mineral Spa

Had a misunderstanding/miscommunication with the staff here as I booked in for a couple’s massage at 3:30pm requesting a female massage therapist for me and a male one for my boyfriend in the same room a few weeks prior to our appointment. For some reason, when we got there, a male massage therapist was waiting for me and thought I booked a male one and was leading me to a solo room, as other couple already went inside their couple room for their massage. Another male massage therapist was also there for my boyfriend and to a solo room. Took a while to get our appointments rescheduled again, as the massage therapists were saying the next female therapist wasn’t available not until 8:30pm, I was getting disappointed at this point but the manager fixed everything up right away and was able accommodate us by moving to 4:15pm for a couple’s room massage with the intended massage therapists I requested for me and my partner. The massage itself was really good and relaxing, I just hoped the little misunderstanding didn’t happen but it is what it is.

Went the day before my wedding to get mine and my bridesmaids nails done. Myself and one bridesmaid got both hands and feet done and the other bridesmaid just did her hands. Because of this we were separated for a bit which was a shame, but thankfully the ladies were easy to talk to and we had great conversations while everything was taking place. Snack pack was a super cute surprise too! Resulting nails looked great and overall a pretty good experience. Front staff could have been a bit friendlier.

I went here for my birthday- to treat myself. Oh just so you know, you have to let them know its your birthday in advance to receive a discount. I didn't know that so...too bad. This is a nice spa to try for a quick massage and just want to hangout in their mineral whirlpool. My therapist was nice. Though the rest of the ladies in the reception can be more accommodating and informative. It was my 1st time here so it would have been nice to get informed about the facilities prior. I would have liked the pools to have been more quiet to be more relaxing but you could here screaming children because the location is shared with the hotel swimming pool. Although, it's so good that the spa has their own private pools that only spa guest can use. They provide a nice complimentary snack for the guests as well, which I think is nice. Though, I would suggest avoiding plastic (container and spoon) when its served to the guests especially when they are having them in the spa. If they are taking them out, paper containers will be ideal. I may visit here again when I visit Winnipeg but there are other better ones in the city.

Me and my boyfriend booked for couples massages. First I must say, we both enjoyed our massages, no complaints there. James was great! However this place is a dump!!It desperately needs a renovation. The mineral pool area is far from luxurious. We cringed at how yucky everything looked..hair on the floor, broken waterfall, rusted/salted furniture, vip pool furniture stained and breaking. We didn't dare go in the steam room. Cupboards in the change rooms are breaking and cheap. Also disappointing that there was no water available. I think offering your guests a bottle water would be a nice gesture.We will try a different spot next time. Bring sandals for the dirty floors and your own water bottle!

It's honestly been some time now, but in 2018, my wife and I tried to set up a couples' massage a few times with no avail. In any case, one of us wouldn't be able to attend because of staff sickness/unavailability and would be offered the day at the pool for free as a compromise, but I kid you not, between the two of us this happened 3 times in a row. Always, the other person would have to call to cancel because somehow our visits were not considered connected, so while we were considering the visit to be a group activity, it was always sort of though of as two separate businesses by Clarion. I'm sure the individual masseuses (praise be they) are no longer there.EDIT: Basically, we tried but couldn't really get anything arranged. Turn-over seemed to be a pretty serious issue so we just stopped trying. There was always attempt made to confirm an appointment for the other of us individually, as though that person could attend the pool while the one of us who had a masseur show up would expect to get and pay for a massage. My condolences to whomever has to come to work under that sort of circumstance.At no point did we show up and get a massage when only one of us was scheduled for one in the end - rather I just want to exhibit that we had to sort of manually cancel everything in every event that the couples' massage format wasn't honoured. There was always an assumption that the other person would appear unquestionably. With us not being able to make it out as a sort of couples' evening, I'm sure that we had certainly caused some people to be sent home for the day. Yes, we had scheduled for the Couples'" massage option.Edit 2: I see a lot of reviews about "cracked feet" etc. Too each their own; my 1-star review is largely about my wife and I having our scheduled visit split such that we were ultimately a single customer with the other along as a 2nd wheel so many times. We loved our time at Urban Oasis Mineral Spa! The spa has a very relaxing atmosphere, and the amenities were amazing. We enjoyed the mineral pool in particular, and found it very clean and therapeutic. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and we can't wait to go back!

Nice to be able to use mineral pool before treatment. Pedicure was good, though they had us booked in for the wrong one. No worries we will get the other one next time because we will be back. Got a little snack box to munch on during service too

My boyfriend and I went for massages today. Our therapists Nicole and James were absolutely incredible, the best massages we have ever had. Highly recommend either of them!

Leah and Monica did an excellent pedicure. My mom and I absolutely loved the snack boxes and coffee. I'm only leaving 4* because the parkade was closed and alternate parking was inconvenient, the spa wasn't easy to find, need more signage.
