渥太华的印象深刻，以前以为渥太华不过一首都，可能没有什么可看的，一到此地顿觉不凡。网上有人评价比美国首都华盛顿还好，觉得言过其实，亲自体验后感到实至名归。渥太华的建筑很有价值，特别是国会大厦以及一些政府机关的建筑，大都是石材建造，很花功夫和心思。现代建筑也很有创意，如历史博物馆、人造瀑布、犹太人大屠杀纪念碑等，渥太华的建筑布局是按照地势而安置的，因此没有那么呆板，显得游刃有余，因地制宜。首都既有庄严大气的一面，又有隆隆的生活气息，这是其他首都不能比拟的，集贸市场、步行街与庙堂之间相得益彰是这个城市令人向往的地方。

Cool spot for a photo opportunity, the water coming through the dam can be very interesting, especially with all the seagulls that accumulate here! Bird watchers who only like seagulls love this spot.
