West Cabs - Luxury Taxi Service in Kelowna

If you do not want to be late for an important meeting, plane or interregional bus, do not use this service. I booked a taxi in advance. The car just didn't show up. There was no call with a notification that the car was late or would not arrive at all. I called customer service to find out where my car is. I was told that the driver was on his way, they asked me to wait another 3-4 minutes. But even after 10 minutes the driver did not appear. I called the service again. There I was told that there was an accident on the bridge, the driver was delayed there in a traffic jam. They offered me to change the car, but the point of ordering a taxi was already gone, because I was late for my interregional bus. A pre-ordered taxi, half an hour of pointless waiting, and my missing bus and ticket money. Although in fairness it must be said that the drivers are pleasant and often arrive 10 minutes ahead of time, the cars are comfortable and politely answer in the service. I received their apology. But this did not give me confidence that I can rely on this service next time. You never know if a car will come or not. I will not even be warned that the car is late or will not arrive. Only if you are not in a hurry for a certain time, and you don't mind waiting half an hour or more, then you will get a comfortable ride.

I used to use west cabs exclusively and they were amazing. Two days in a row now they were over 20 minutes late/didn’t show up for confirmed reservations. This was for pre booked reservations that we received confirmations for. We missed two dinner reservations and no one at the company seemed to care. I would absolutely not trust this cab company ever again. Very disappointing.

Always on time, great drivers and reliable professionals!!Booked my cab before my flight and the driver was ready and waiting for me at the airport couldn't have asked for any better!! Safely got me and my two pups home with all our luggage, thanks again West!!!

We used the app to request a taxi. Service was very fast (within 5 mins). Zora was very friendly, got us to our destination safely. He was available after our dinner to return us home and we were happy to have a familiar face drive us again. Will definitely use West Cabs and Zora again on our next visit to the West Kelowna area!

If you don't book 6 hours in advanced you will be waiting for 30 minutes and get a no show and have to wait another 20. When you book in advanced they show up 10 minutes early and get mad when you go to the cab for the time you booked it. Uber will end up taking over the west end in no time

On Saturday night may long, ordered a cab in west kelowna.We ended up getting Zora as our driver. He was absolutely amazing. We had our seven year old with us and he treated him awesome made the cab ride Super fun for my kid would definitely use them again. Zora was excellent.

I needed to move my Mom from one nursing home to an other. And I needed a cab that had wheelchair accessibility. Not one taxi company in Kelowna wanted to do the job. I finally tried West Kelowna and phoned West Cabs, and they told me that it was not problem! I couldn't believe it, you made my day! I was so relieved!! That day they showed up on time, with a clean car, and an awesome taxi driver Virk, who was kind and did everything possible to help. Thank West Cabs for your excellent services!

We used Zora tonight and had a great drive. He was quick to pick us up and we had great conversations. Would recommend 10 out of 10!! Thanks Zora!

Zora was an amazing taxi. He was very quick, professional, helpful and funny. He really made my first experience in Canada easy and relaxing. He was always on time and very funny. Nice clean cars helped me travel to and from the gym as well as the airport.

I am extremely disappointed with West Cabs and will no longer be using them. The last 3 times I have booked them for pick up they have not been reliable. Yesterday was the worst. I called and ordered my cab for 5:05 pm to allow time to get my luggage. My cab arrived early and texted they were there. They said they were in a black SUV and would be out Front. They also called and left me a message letting me know they were out front and if I needed help with my luggage to let them know. I thought...wow...this is amazing. They are winning me back! I texted back to say Thank you and that I was waiting for luggage and would see them soon. I got my luggage and proceeded to the black West Cabs SUV at 5:10pm. I asked if this was for me to which he said no and pointed to the car in front of him. I proceeded to the car and the driver told me to wait and walked off leaving me standing there. He returned a couple of minutes later with a family that got in the cab and said he wasn't for me. I showed him my phone and told him the driver said it was. He talked to dispatch and said my driver was coming around the corner. I said he has already called and said he was out here...so is he actually or not. Last time they lied to me and I waited 20 minutes for someone to show up when I could have just got in a cab and be on my way home. He assured me he was at the airport...I said again if he is not I will be upset and he said you better get another cab. So...you lied to me not once...but twice. I get a cab...several minutes later I receive a call saying someone took my cab and they apologized. Not sure how this can happen when you have my name, number and address of where I am going since I booked this in advance. The dispatch then proceeded to ask me to wait another 20 minutes for a driver to come get me?! Are you for real?! By the time a driver would arrive I will be half way home to West Kelowna. I am extremely disappointed with West Cabs. They lied to me, are not reliable and I would not recommend them. It is sad as I always want to support local however they have a lot to learn.
