Sorry I had posted a review before and for some reason it came up as 1 star. Lacombe Bar and Steakhouse is far from a 1 star. It was a great meal and good service. I give it 5 stars .....

Lacombe Bar and Steakhouse
Our take out order took over an hour to get and it was two baked pastas. The waitresses excuse was that she had a table to serve in the dinning room even though I asked her 3 times if our order was ready. Baked lasagna and baked spaghetti would have been good but they were Cold. Never going to eat there again

Absolutely love this place. Super friendly staff. A hidden treasure in our community. Their Chefs are fantastic. My Mom & Dad moved here from southern Alberta & they fell in love with this place too. We try & go as often as we can.

Lacombe Bar and Steakhouse
The Lacombe Steakhouse is both a sports bar and a restaurant. We prefer sitting in the bar side (especially during Blue Jays season), but the restaurant and the bar have the same menu which is actually, quite extensive. The food is good, and we've always found the service to be quite fine. The other night we we're a bit hungry and so had crab cakes to start, the beef dip, and fish and chips. All were good, although the beef dip is cut rather thick. Several craft beers on tap which I like.

Attended on a Thursday early evening. Place had customers but on the quiet side. Waitress was only one I believe; service from her was quick and consistent even as evening progressed and got busier.We both had real parmigiana which was good ( no tough spots and cooked well ) was actually two pieces of the veal together with a lot of french fries for me; wife had baked stuffed potato. Both meals had grilled chunky vegs: I didnt eat my grilled zucchini - not generally a fan of zucchini anyway. Carrots and beets done just right- just above al dente. I would favor pickled beets just because it would provide some contrast to let's say not as vibrant flavors in the rest of the foods. Same here with the stuffed potato; my wife found the stuffing overly bland ( yes..there were condiments provided ). Probably a commercially prepared restaurant item ( I.e Gordon Food Services or Sysco ?). Anyway...just an opinion. Would I go here again...definitely.

The meals we had today were horrible. My fish was as bad as I've ever had in my life. Half raw and full of bones. The worst fish and chips ever! My dad's steak was tough as nails. Last time we were in this place it wasn't great either. My complaint fell on deaf ears. I will never be back again.

Lacombe Bar and Steakhouse
Absolutely delightful little spot to eat. As natives to Lacombe, I honestly think this place has the best food in town. The seafood in particular, is delicious, especially the mussels and shrimp. Highly recommend stopping in! You really can't go wrong with the menu, the chef really understands how important sauces are and has a great handle on getting flavours just right.

Came for supper at the Steakhouse and Bar and the food was amazing as usual. The waitress was quick and on the ball. Our food came out hot and yummy.
