Most likely never going to return.Arrival was confusing. Pulled in thinking you have to check in at an office. Owner chasing my husband in his truck trying to find a place to park. yelling telling him that he was not aloud to come this far with truck and tent trailor. I told him what lot we where in . He said it is probably already taken . Just pick a spot cause it was gonna get full quickly .Our spot we picked was great and overall stay was not bad .I have to say that this place is very poorly managed. Owner not very friendly. They had some kind of music event with bunch of hillbilly rednecks. Alot of the campers are seasonal but redneck seasonals. Like not trailor or rv seasonals . More like tenting seasonal which is very odd to me. There is one main building with men and women bathrooms and office/store . First of all bathroom are a disgrace. Filthy , never any toilet paper in the stalls . No hand washing soap. Sink and counter so dirty cant even put your toiletries on them to wash face or brush teeth. I would never step foot in the showers. They are so dirty and gross. the floors where never swept, dirt everywhere. Garbage over flowing every time we had gone in. The office/store was most of the time closed and looked like a storage place. He had nothing to buy in there if you needed something . And you'd be uncomfortable to even ask for anything anyways. The river you cannot see at all . You have to walk down a path for 10 minutes to get to it . And along the way there is some tenting sites. That myself would not stay at. So secluded and dark. Seen 1 out house with a hole in the ground. Bet that would smell in the middle of summerOur camping was okOur lot very niceJust needs to be maintained and better managed . I only seen the owner. He should have a small staff to help with the cleanning and service to the campers.

Very happy we found this gem to camp at!! Nice and secluded from the highway, right next to the river, dog friendly and great staff. Enjoyed our time here and would return for another stay if in the area again :)

We had a blast, our girls (10 and 8) loved how peaceful it was and kept saying it!! The owner was super outgoing, which was nice!Be prepared for bugs because it is an actual wilderness campground, and you have to rough it a bit (outhouse, find some wood for fire), BUT that's the whole experience of camping in my families eyes.We were prepared for everything (rain, bugs, sun, wind, etc). Luckily it was gorgeous the whole time and BONUS thing is our tent didn't see sun until noon, so we didn't wake up sweating!!The river was high because of the 2 weeks of rain we had, so the beach wasn't there but we still went in and had fun!!If you choose a tent site, you park your vehicle and the owner brings up his four-wheeler to you with his decent size trailer and we brings your things to your site while you follow behind (the walking is maybe 5 minutes!)Overall FANTASIC experience can't wait to go back with my bestie and her family!!!

It's our first day and night, 2 more to go. It's very quiet. You're in the woods, so expect bugs. Seems very low key!

这个营地最有趣的是主人养的小狗!但是营地本身缺乏管理,没有明确的指引标志以及糟糕的淋浴间。此外内部设计的像迷宫,对于刚到的人来说没有指示牌很难找到自己的营地号码。

This campground leaves a lot to be desired in the form of hospitality and services. I felt unwelcomed from the beginning of our stay. We were patronized, spoken aggressively to, and overcharged for our reservation. For anyone looking to stay here I recommend you do not camp in the glades as it is a very low-lying area, with a tree canopy that get a significant amount of rain. The ground would need to be built up to be accommodating. This was evident by the 2 massive mud puddles invading half of our site leaving little room for maneuvering with 8 of us in site. Due to the wet weather and lack of sun all the picnic tables at our sites were unstable and turning to mulch. Two of our fire pits were located inside of those puddles. The land is incredible and it is a shame it has not been kept up better

Sites provided ample room and services and a less groomed appearance (which has its appeal).Washrooms were adequate but best described as do your business and get out." There does appear to be an upgrade in infrastructure but not sure it was worth 72$ tax incl. Maybe the walking trails make it worth the price or it's just what it costs to run a place in these times. Not the worst place but certainly not great."

Best campground camping experience I've had in years! Beautiful forested location right on a gently flowing river that's great for swimming. As someone who likes to camp with a little more privacy, this place was a refreshing break from the jam-packed campsites at most other campgrounds nowadays. Would highly recommend for solo or families!
