Charlottetown Airport

Was there from Ontario as a Volunteer for the Winter Canada Games. I want to move there, so very beautiful, friendly, accessible and great restaurants.A shout out to Fish and Chips on Water Street, so darn good.Can't wait to see you again in the summer.

A very small airport, comparable to small, regional airports in northern cities. Do not count on much in the way of services here, but it is comfortable for waiting.

For a smaller airport, this one is very accommodating. Easy to get around. They just need a few more comfortable chairs when you have to wait around for your flight (before you check in.)

We'll organized airport. Paid short term parking exit is dumb only because you can not pay at the gate on exit. For the few people who inevitably forget to pay in terminal, this means the lineup to get out gets bogged down.

Great process following Covid protocols. Asked for my PEI pass then my proof of vaccination. Wait to go to a booth where you show your passport, PEI pass, proof of vaccination, and in my case, proof of residence. They ask for your phone number. A 2nd person enters all the details. A qualified health nurse then asks you to validate your name and DOB, then you get both nostrils swabbed and are told that if you get a call in 2 hours then its positive and isolation is required; if not you need to get re tested between 4 to 8 days of arriving. Then I proceeded to retrieve my volunteered checked bag. Such a friendly atmosphere. Was glad to be coming back home.

Small, easy, friendly airport .What's not to love . Grab a quick bit at Buddy's before you go. Line ups can get busy at times so plan accordingly. Most flights require you to walk up stairs or ramp to board the plane.

Way too small for the volume of passengers. No seats, long lines and totally disorganised. They need a major expansion.

The airport is small and flights are limited but it’s quick to get through. There is a nice cafe to get a drink or snack at within security. You will be walking outside and up a jetway to get on the plane.Rental car desks are conveniently within the building but you will be walking a short distance outside to the car.Due to limited flights in and out, when I landed at midnight, there seemed to be limited taxi service for the full flight.

On May 21st, the airport restaurant employee humiliated me in front of everyone because I told her I needed a few sec to finish the coffee served with my breakfast. She wanted me to leave that table with my family for her private party in that restaurant despite the availability of another empty table. I never experienced such rude behaviour in any airport, and never heard of a private party arrangement in any international airport restaurant facility!That restaurant employee told me she would kick me out" if I didn't leave that table in the 5 minutes once I humbly requested her a few sec to finish my morning coffee!I reported this issue to the Airport Authority through its online form and requested them to check their surveillance camera footage."
