Duco & Duco LLP

I made a serious mistake dealing with Duco & Duco LLP.In January 2020 I met with Marc Duco to draft a will, as I was about to go to Florida. I never received a draft will or any other follow-up and basically nothing was done.Foolishly, I went back to Mr. Duco to handle the sale of my house, which closed on January 11th, 2021. He ignored my instructions on how to transfer funds on closing, which lead to an additional almost $2,000 in moving and storage fees from my mover. It is now more than 6 months and I have yet not received a reporting letter on the sale of my house.My advice is to steer clear of this firm.

We had a fantastic experience working with Marc Duco. All of the staff members were friendly and Marc answered all of our questions thoroughly and in terms we could understand. The work was carried out efficently and as expected. I highly recommend this law firm.

Called for legal advice as my father passed and didn’t have a will made; blatantly disrespected my fathers passing by mentioning how he should have had a will... very unprofessional with how he speaks to clients and instead of offering help, kept coming up with reasons as to why he doesn’t want to go through with doing his job.

I’ve used Duco and Duco for the sake of 3 homes in Innisfil and our wills. I have had great service and a wonderful customer experience every time.

Frustrating experience. Things were not explained in terms that someone without law experience can understand. Then when questions were asked the owner of the business was clearly getting frustrated with me.Over 6 montha later they are now adding fees of nearly $500 for services that were included in my house closing!!!!

Patrick Duco closed two mortgages for us, very professional and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, tag bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Will use again. Marc Duco created a new corporation for me, again very professional and easy to talk, laid back atmosphere. Always feel welcome here.

Best law firm ever! In business here in Innisfil 35 plus years. Amazing!

Arrived before my scheduled appointment only to be told to wait outside the office with my 8 month old in not so nice windy weather. I had a face mask on while none of the 3 people inside the office weren’t wearing any.The blonde older lady was very condescending when asking me to wait outside. Wonder if I was white, would I have been treated the same way?.Well I wasn’t going to wait 5 more minutes past my appointment with my child, so I left. Disgusting behaviour.

one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made was choosing this law firm to look after the purchase and sale of our homes. Id give them 0 stars if that was possible.leading up to closing day everything seemed fine, but the day of was ridiculous. I was told I would be updated with where things were going, which didn't happen. I ended up calling and was told I would be called back in a certain amount of time, that came and went. this happened 3 times and the responses I got made it seem like I was a burden on this law firm and their day to day business. While my family and I were waiting outside of our new home, my real estate agent called our law firm for me (at this point I didn't feel comfortable talking to them) and was told that the entire transaction had been completed an hour prior!! So not only was I not treated like a client, I was completely forgotten about!!!all of the above didn't even trigger this terrible review. I was happy that I didn't have to deal with them again.Until almost 2 months later I received a phone call where I was told that they had forgotten to pay our land transfer/property taxes and that I owed them close to $14k. Didn't seem to care that after moving and it being Christmas time, we were a little short, just wanted their money.
