Our furnace needed to be replaced and we were really pleased with the service the team provided. We were given lots of information in order to make a decision on which furnace would be best for our home. All appointments were right on time and all phone calls and emails were answered quickly. All members of the team were friendly and helpful. After installation we were shown specific operating details about the particular furnace and thermostat. Great service!

I’ve used their services 2 times since owning our home. Always during an emergency during the weekend! Both times technicians fixed the issue and saved the day! Dan came out on a Sunday this time around and was able to fix the issues with our furnace not starting. Thank God it was a quick fix! DefinitelyWill use them again and recommend them to my friends and family!

We called on Monday afternoon for an appointment as soon as possible. We were told Thursday would be the earliest they could arrive as they were booked solid. Needless to say they showed up Tuesday (the next morning)....fantastic! Andrew G came in and did an excellent job installing our new shower mixing valve. He asked us questions about bathtub placement and shower head height which helped with our bathroom remodel. After he was done I asked him about the existing toilet flange which had lead pipe, he offered some advice but we opted to have it changed to ABS. He promptly returned after lunch and switched out the old lead pipe. He did an incredible job, was quick, clean, courteous and friendly. He even lent me one of his personal tools and returned later to pick it up! I highly recommend Andrew and the crew at Gravenhurst Plumbing, Heating & Electric. I'm very satisfied with the exceptional work and service provided.

Ellie and Andrew got our water-on this spring and were fantastic! An animal had clawed through our main water line and the team effectively and efficiently replaced the damaged section without any interruption to our cottage opening. They are professional, courteous and a pleasure to have service your cottage!

Dave Arnold was the tech who came out to give us a quote on a thermostat for our gas fireplace. He was very friendly and did a great job. He was able to install the thermostat right away that day. Thanks for a great job !

I had a negative experience with Gravenhurst Plumbing Heating & Electric. Initially, they promised to provide a free service call to inspect a furnace. However, when the technician arrived, I was told that the furnace needed to be replaced for $6000, and they refused to replace only the blower, claiming that the necessary parts were unavailable.I decided to take matters into my own hands and discovered that mice had entered the blower, causing it to become unbalanced and noisy. Additionally, I found a rip in the air return line. I was able to purchase the necessary parts, and with 4 hours of my time, I was able to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the furnace. The total cost of repairs amounted to $42.44 for the parts.I found their behaviour to be dishonest and disappointing, especially given the current economic climate. It's clear that many companies are taking advantage of vulnerable individuals.I'm disappointed that Gravenhurst Plumbing Heating & Electric did not perform a thorough inspection of the furnace, also charged for the services, yet did no work and instead opted for an expensive replacement that was unnecessary. I hope that this information will be helpful to others who are considering their services.Extended Reply:I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from your company. Not only did you attempt to charge me an exorbitant amount of money, but I was able to fix the issue myself for a fraction of the cost. Your HVAC department suggested replacing the furnace for a cost of $6000, despite the fact that the furnace is only 18 years old.It is concerning that your company believes that older equipment cannot function properly and that customers should immediately opt for expensive replacements. This is a tactic that HVAC companies often use to exploit customers and increase profits.Your attempt to justify your actions and shift the blame onto me is completely unacceptable. It is clear that your company has no regard for the financial well-being of its customers and is only interested in making money.

I've liked Ryan and the company. Used them for my propane furnace install.Recently they overcharged me for maintenance by accident. Managers fixed this promptly and made it right. If you ever have an issue speak to the top managers they are great and will make things right.I recommend them and would use again.

I would like to send a big Thank you to Brad and Andrew (plumbers) who hooked up my new kitchen sink and faucet! They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They worked away quickly and even took away all the garbage. I would not hesitate to recommend these two gentlemen and will request them if I have further jobs that I need assistance with. I found them friendly., knowledgeable, and there when I needed them. They seem to operate in a old fashioned way which is something that is truly missing these days. An example of that is when they finished the work they weren't there looking for credit cards and said no we will send you the bill. Who does that today. I felt like I knew them and they made me feel like a customer they have had forever. Their work however was right up to today's standard and not old fashioned in any way. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The gentlemen doing the work were friendly, thorough and answered all questions I had. I will be using them for years to come.
