Cố Đô Huế Express

We have been eating here since 2017 and we love the flavours and fast service! Pho and vermicelli with grilled beef are my two top meals, my son loves any of the rice dishes!

I’m telling you guys for free that this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants ever. Also was studying in Germany for 2 years and none of the Vietnamese food I’ve ever eaten taste near good like Co Do Hue. Same as in Edmonton. The food is amazing with good service. Highly recommended all!

The food here is average, there is nothing particularly stand out about it. I had the vermicelli bowl with beef and spring rolls. The quantity of beef seems low but that may just be the presentation being a kabob. The spring rolls tasted as if they were store bought and frozen rather then freshly made in house.The restaurant it's self is seemingly more geared towards a take out place as there is very limited seating.

Interesting concept. You choose what you want and order it at the cashier.The place was fully packed, the pho broth was on the sweeter side but it was delish. Reminds us pho broth at some restaurants in Montreal. The place is a bit small, service was friendly.The fried chicken wings we ordered were yummy. Sugary, hint of fish sauce, interestingly nice.

Hot soup on a cold day hit the spot. The menu is limited compared to other Vietnamese restaurants but that is due to the style of service. This is not a full service restaurant but neither is it fast food, it is a hybrid where you order your food at the counter but then the order is brought to your table. The restaurant is cozy, meaning small, but that’s ok. The spring rolls are good and the soup was tasty and served quickly. We have been here a few times and like it. The restaurant is clean as are is the washrooms. We will come another time.

Best deep fried squid in town! Hot and sour soup is amazing too! I've actually never had a bad experience. Try it out!

I'm very picky with my food, but I was impressed with the quality of the Vietnamese food here. We got deep fried squid, Bún Bò Huế and 4 colored vermicelli. Awesome clear yummy broth and all the meat/ seafood was very fresh and tasty. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the city. There's an LED Sreen with all the items for you to order and pay before you get the food brought to the table. The waitresses were friendly, warm and welcoming. If you like to see beautiful young or middle-aged Vietnamese ladies, pay them a visit ;)

When your favorite Pho place starts opening up more chains, you go to compare on how they go against their OG shop, right?Resembling more of their West side location, acting more as an express/takeout style concept, where you order and pay at the counter and gather all your utensils and condiments off to the side while you seat yourself.Surprisingly a lot more spacious than what you'd expect walking through the narrow entryway. Though this space isn't as welcoming as the OG spot, and also not as well kept. (Few tables were still in need of being wiped up and cleaned off.) All in all, they were quick to finish my orders and nothing was missing. Wouldn't come to this location to sit down to eat though.Crispy Spicy Chicken Wings - ($9.95) - SO, SO GOOD. Very generous portion and came straight out of the deep fryer, chicken was super crispy and the pepper and spice mix really had you craving for more. Totally kicking myself for not trying this sooner. This is a must!Grilled Beef Salad Rolls ($8.25) - I've tried all three combos of proteins, and honestly the grilled beef is my ultimate favorite. They marinate the beef and proceed to grill it before wrapping it up. The grill with the marinade makes for a beautiful char which was harmony along with the sweet hoisin sauce they have on the side.Wor Wonton Soup - ($12.95) - Subbed with their beef soup which ended up being the more flavorful choice, this was a light addition and the wontons were filled with plenty of meat fillings. My one con to this dish was the imitation crab meat that didn't need to be there. With shredded chicken and fresh whole shrimp, the slices of imitation crab meat just looked and tasted out of place.

Delicous food in an express diner style setting. Would eat here again for sure.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Very nice atmosphere. Staff 8s friendly and food was amazing. Highly recommend..
