Went home to NS last year and got a Donair platter somewhere else. It was okay. This year stopped at KOD and so glad we did. Fantastic food, friendly service. Wish you were in Quebec!

This location used to have really good generic pizza and decent Donairs but recently the quality of the food has dropped as has the atmosphere of the staff.We had pizza a couple weeks back and it was overcooked and under dressed. Felt like eating a brick with the same level of crunch and taste.I should have learned my lesson but alas, I went there tonight for 2 large donairs. The pita was inedible as it had been utterly drenched then heated on the meat leaving it soggy and pasty instead of fried with that oh so good crispy edge.The meat had no taste other then a touch of heat and the sauce lacked the hit of garlic that really pulls it together. To top it all off the grease was so abundant it soaked through both layers of tinfoil.The onions were off and the tomatoes were not much better. If I don't get food poisoning I will be surprised.Never eat here if you want quality food. This King of Donair" is nothing more then a stable boy at best."

We ordered donair sub this evening . For some reason a got cream cheeze frostening instead of a extra donaie sauce . So I called and the where not going to do anything about the sauce. After that I took a drink of the chocklate milk I ordered and it was sour . !! So I proceeded to call them Back . They refused to bring me another order . Basicaly said to me ,what do you want us to do about that . Terrible service , cost me twenty dollars with a tip for nothing .. Their treatment to me was completely unexceptable. Ofcource I will never order frome them again . Anybody want a donair sub with creamcheeze frosting and sour chocklet milk .

We traveled from Toronto ON. I seen a Tv show that was reviewing this location so I just had to try the food while I was there!I was looking forward to an authentic down east Donair... The meat was really tasty! so good. The pita was warm and soft. But the sauce that they put on it.....Oh no! it was like someone just globed on some sweet creamy off while substance all over mine!It was not to my taste at all. And put me off this sandwich.The staff was really nice, and the place has soo much to see inside. There is not much seating.I will be sticking with the Greek gyro from now on. But I am so glad that I was able to check this place out.

Worst donair I ever eaten. Horrible service at lacewood store. Couldn't even get my order right and had to go back a second time and still couldn't get it right. I highly recommend staying away from this location. Wouldn't even give my money back after I just dropped 50 bucks on a lunch for my wife and I.

I’ve heard of the infamous Halifax Donair and I wasn’t sure what to expect.For starters I ordered a Philly version of donair w/ peppers, onions & mushrooms.It was ok. It was extremely hard to eat as there was so much sauce I had to use a fork. For a sandwich and the donair sauce it was ok. Maybe I should have tried the original.Oh and if you pay by debit there’s a .40 surcharge they don’t advertise on top of if you do a tip option! I didn’t expect that or had any warning this was a thing. Just don’t be surprised when you insert your ATM card.

What the hell is going on at KOD?Used to be great, ordered a pizza tonight and it was possibly the worst pizza I've ever had.No care what so ever put into making it massive clumps of toppings not spread out, way over cooked and they didn't cut all the way through,figure it out KOD.

Wow so cheap with the donair sauce. They give you the tiniest cup and it’s not enough for the pizza. Seeing how little they gave me, I ate sparingly and was still empty and didn’t have enough for my last slice. Doesn’t make for a good donair pizza.
